So in   5 days time I have the operation to remove the tumour - randomly known as Ian.

Why in the last few days have I become incredibly tired and emotional ??
Did anyone else feel the same?

    Hi all

Just checking in as I have been sitting on the side lines just reading all your goings on.

I have not been too well.

Great to see everyone is moving on through treatment,  we have all had some journey. I thought mine was at an end with my last T two weeks ago.

However after a week of shortness of breath two trips to the GP, I have landed myself in hospital with pneumonia , night number three tonight. Can't believe I got through all that poop then this gets me.

Hoping my oxygen levels pick up soon and I can go home.

Hope you are all having a lovely bank holiday in the beautiful sunshine  and not too many se kicking around.

Ah you guessed right the SE are making their presence known in Jammy land!

Was feeling good yesterday and we took Libby and best friend out for tea but forgot to take steroids with tea so ended up having them late which meant worst night sleep in ages...own fault. Also think that I over-did yesterday as had been most of day then we came across a funfair on way back from tea out so let girls have an hour or so there and didn't end up taking her friend home till 10pm...but it was such a lovely day it was well worth it. Just feeling the SE I normally get tomorrow creepung in today but last cycle so hey ho hopefully just these last few grotty days and I will be fine.

My other moan today is rash related too Lindsay! PICC line dressing caused no probs until last week when started to itch a bit but nothing bad and no rash. Line was removed on Fri and they put a smaller dressing just to cover the little cut and of course have had major reaction to it...very red, very sore rash. Have taken dressing off completely now tho so hopefully rash will go down overnight! Hope your rash clears too....what are we all like?!

Sounds like you have had good weekend....no storms here and another nice day forecast tomorrow.....shame I'll be popping cocodamol for most of it!

    Take care xx

Ah just seen your post..so sorry to hear you are in hospital. Hope they are looking after you well and the meds soon sort it out. Such a shame after last T too. Sending lots of love.

I have had a cough for last wk or so, not really chesty and onco wasnt too concerned as pre chemo bloods were good but I keep worrying it might develop into something worse when neutrophils drop mid cycle...will keep eye out for any shortness of breath.

Stay strong and rest up when you get home..least no more chemo to knock you about again.

    xx

Oh..... the old T Truck has hit Blackpool too!!

Just the usual aches and pains and I've done far too much gardening today, so I know what's coming tomorrow.

Never mind,  at least we know what's coming and the end is in sight.

    Thanks JammyR,

They are looking after me really well. Hopefully the meds will kick in soon.

Yes we can at least say goodbye the chemo. I have herceptin injections for the  next so still have to go to the chemo unit every three weeks.

I hope your side effects are mild and your soon back to normal. My hair is growing like mad which is a weird feeling when washing it and feeling no scalp. How's yours coming along?

Enjoy the sun and half term with your daughter

    Hugs

    Sorry lovely lady

Mean old @@@@ that I am

Then Jammy is in shitty SE land

Listening to the mother of storms here

We live on a ridge so storms either pass us by or crack bash and boom. Tonight it is the latter

    I love them

Right need to stop being selfish

Hugs across the miles and to those in NHS care

    Thanks Linsay

Thanks, I'm hopefully going to be picking up soon.

My biggest mistake is I never had the damn hospital bag packed so as you can imagine getting the hubby to find things has been a hard task. Should have followed those important and handy instructions that were on the thread months ago.

I love a good storm too, where do you live again?

Hope your rash calms it's self

    Hugs
