So in   5 days time I have the operation to remove the tumour - randomly known as Ian.

Why in the last few days have I become incredibly tired and emotional ??
Did anyone else feel the same?

     - Thank you for the hug. Am really hoping it’s not blocked just no fluid to drain off.        :-(

Bigguy, I hope that your drain gets sorted out very quickly and that there are no problems...you have been through so much and you deserve smooth sailing!

Jammy, your daughter is lovely:) My daughter is 9 and my son is 7, beautiful ages and good company.

I am doing pretty well during this second round of chemo, felt like I bounced back from fatigue and nausea more quickly but am having headaches every day now...yuck. Also a bit sensitive stomach still. The weather here has been fantastic so trying to get out every day and enjoy it. I even did a bit or exterior house painting with my OH on the weekend!

Good wishes for a lovely week to everyone xx

  • JammyR -  Libby is gorgeous and looks quite tall for her age like my daughter! Im glad you are ok, these se of muscle pain seem to be dragging their feet in packing their bags but like you im managing to walk each day and even managed 5 miles along the canal this morning but it did feel like my legs were beibg dragged through quick sand and im shattered now! Im sure if we keep at it the aches will get less each day! X

  • Aliblue - Oh how adorable is Elle! All these gorgeous little ones with fabulous strong mums! Xx

  • Thanks ladies. Yes , Libby is very tall for her age which is somewhat of a miracle as she was below the 0.002 centile for her gestation when she was born at 35 wks weighing 3lb 6 oz..very strong little girl.

  •  Ali, Elle is gorgeous and yup she definitely has attitude lol.

Joanne, Libby is a stunner and I think she really looks like you, not seen your OH. Oh my she looks so tiny in that pic bless her.

Im off to the hospital this afternoon with my daughter so fingers crossed we come away with good news. She received a letter from the NHS hospital today to go back on Friday but I’m not taking any chances after last times debacle.

Hope the set up for RT goes without a hitch.

Hope everyone else is getting the warm sunny weather today and feeling good xx
