So in   5 days time I have the operation to remove the tumour - randomly known as Ian.

Why in the last few days have I become incredibly tired and emotional ??
Did anyone else feel the same?

Cheers old blue eyes. looking great

I shall be speaking to my beautician tomorrow morning to make a plan

Though everyone says 6 weeks before chemo and I've only got a 2 week wait. Do I risk it?????

  • Leolady56 - I'm not sure why you were told 6 weeks before chemo, I've had my eyebrows microbladed a few times now and normally after they have been tattoed they go a bit scabby and crusty for around 4 days which is when I'd have though you would be prone to infection then the dry bits fall away on me after around a week and they are fine! I would have thought the henna ones would be even less time to heal but I'd have a gallop to the beautician and check as maybe I have rhino skin lol

    Mrsox - They look fabulous!

Yes thanks have managed to get out a fair bit this weekend and have been enjoying some 'normal' allbeit with few naps thrown as my body can't handle too much normal. Yesterday watched Libby dance (not often get to see her dance but exams coming up so teacher wanted us to see where they are at) and then a good friend haven't seen since start of BC picked us up and took us to her house, she made us lunch we had a good old catch up whilst our girls played. Was so nice to actually relax  and socialise! Been out for decent walk along canal today. Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary so plan is lunch out and walk around country park Libby likes. Apart from onco and bloods Wed morning with DH being off we have rest of week to do family trips out ahead of dreaded chemo on Fri.

Glad you are ok and not as bad with SE this cycle.. Libby already behaves like a teenager when comes to clothes!

Havent been on here as much as usual whilst having my pre Docetaxal attempt at bit of normality but reading everyones posts and wishing everyone well.

Hugs leo, we are with you every step of the way as you have been with us.....

  • Hi Ladies. I would love to have my eyebrows tattooed or microbladed but I have an allergy to paraphenylendiamine which is found in permanent and semi permanent hair dye.

Years ago I had a very bad reaction when I dyed my mousey blond hair black. This was in the late sixties..

Years later I had my eyelashes dyed and again had a bad reaction.

I had a test of the ink used for tattoing and had a reaction.too.

So its a pencil for me and a fringe.

At least my eyelashes grew back

Hope your first chemo goes well

I was born in August and am also  a Leo

    Love

    Sue xxxx
