Hi All, my last mammogram was at the end of July, done for my diagnosis. I had a breast MRI in December and I only finished rads 5 weeks ago. The hospital called me on Sunday, yes a Sunday, to ask if I could come in one day this week. I’ve told Dec this is normal, but I’m not sure it is. It is at Good Hope, where I have my treatment. The routine mammograms are done at Solihull usually, so this is definitely part of the treatment train. Just a tad worried now! Xx

None of us wanted to be in this group, but we are glad we're not alone.
Diagnosis 2/8/17 IDC Her2+, 22mm, with spread to several lymph nodes. TCHP chemo started 23/8/17, Mx with immediate, temp recon 24/1/18, rads 20/3 to 10/4/18, Herceptin by IV until Nov 18. RR Mx Jan 23. Still waiting for reconstruction, but opting for simple implants, as opposed to Diep, due to long waiting lists for diep.
Hi Jo (JoDec) instead of worrying why don't you call and ask why you are suddenly being invited for a mammogram? Maybe as your treatment is ended they like an end of treatment mammo to compare?! Who knows? But I would definitely be calling to ask! None of us like these surprise calls! (((((((((((((((BIG HUGS)))))))))))) xxxx
Sssssshhhh! Don't want to jinx it but...WAHOO!

Oh yeah, stick names...how about Ian..as in Ian Dury in honour of rhythm stick?
Take care
Ooh another stick name..shillelagh...pronounced shilllaylee..err that's me being presumptuous and assuming the odd person might not know the Irish stick spelling...or that it originated as a fighting stick...so watch out grumps, space hoggers, indifferent shop assistants, utterers of stupid and the downright rude : )
Cheers
Light saber. And we can paint it in a neon colour..............

Yes, I love star wars!!!!
Got some dust in my eye drilling holes this morning, so on frequent application of eye drops. Two drops in the eye and about 10 all over my face.........
Sleep tight everyone

As the stick is actually a Trekking Pole to assist LondonLass with her walking rhythm and provide stability on rough terrain.
I think it should be named Cheryl Cole, as then you could say 'I was walking to the bus stop with Cheryl Cole' or I'm taking Cheryl Cole to the shops' and people would think she was your best friend :)
hahaha,@Snowysmum...Well...I got all excited to read pictures may be coming back....
