AWAKE.........

Ok I really need to try and sleep now my eyelids are getting heav and i keep dropping my ipad so that’s sayin, “time for bed me thinks” .

thanks to all who contribute and knit the thread into the beautifully soft but dependably strong hug of a comfort blanket that it is...many different stitches and styles that make the whole.

Thanks for the experiences and expertise shared ...and for the potentially long lonely hours when there is ALWAYS someone around.

Hmmm next time (this time/every time) we can't sleep, consider that it may be because someone out there really needs someone to be awake too)

OK as still can't do pics am going to take great pleasure in waking my man, snorting loudly on the sofa : )

Awww Sal Thankyou so much for starting this thread. It really means a lot. Just knowing there is someone around when you're alone with you're   thoughts.  We all know cancer can be so lonely. I come here for advice, friendship and sometimes just to look and see how everyone is. Such lovely, kind, witty, inspirational, brave, non judgemental group of women. Thankyou again to Sal and to you all because I really don't know what I would have done . Sending you all lots of love. Xxxxx

Just woke up and thought I would pop on and see if anyone was awake and needing a chat! Instead I find the most amazing posts. The lovely use of words and expressions of love and support has just brought tears to my eyes. You can really see how much this thread has meant to EVERYONE! How we all have taken it to be our safe haven, somewhere that no one can hurt us :-) 

I am very proud to of started it, but without every one of you we wouldn't have the Fantastic Group that holds its arms open to welcome anyone who needs it, in for a virtual and now real hug!!
