That’s such a good idea Optimistic and it sounds like you had a lovely memory to store with your granddaughter, another pepper pig fan hey!
The photos sound really fascinating and yes I would think they do stir the memories, it’s surprisingly helpful for us all to do things like that. I had a photo I saw from when I was a child walking along the railway line near the sea wall and I can remember my favourite trick was to signal the drivers to sound the horn, it was fun some did and some were missable and wouldn’t do it, but it was a great memory.

And London Lass thank you again I think when you Google it it's called Dealing with Uncertainty and it's the hardest thing with the diagnosis. I like certainty ! Especially for my family . It's strange I sit here in the middle of my family but don't tell them how I feel .Well I do but I have to give them a break sometimes. But I come here and confide and get such support. I suppose I'm lucky in so many ways I just never saw this one coming. Thank you real hugs soon xxÂ

I made a new friend at my Mum's this week. Well, he either likes me or my peanuts...
He's SO cute - my Mum calls him 'the naughty one' as after her stroke, she can never find the word squirrel...
Oh, and more new friends - Mum's neighbours keep alpacas in her field. They are funny things - very aloof and they make a really odd squeaking noise! These are the two males - the brown and white one is last year's baby and is very handsome. The brown one is this year's breeding male, and with the best will in the world, has a face only a mother could love!
No wonder I feel an affinity to them....
