Fuuuu! Lots of catching up... YAY for all the good news and reassurance about melt downs.
Well I went hospital on Friday to drop in a card for a pal awaiting a hospice bed and didn't know what to expect...surprised to find her alone but propped up and happy and able to chat...fab! The alarm went off so had to stay past the end of visits so a good chat was had.
This followed something else surprising in a good way...went to view two houses with a pal who is having to sell as husband left. She feels very aggrieved and its been hard work for her to actually go view places as it represents what she has lost but ...the second one looked and felt good and although it is hugely downsizing...not easy when you have a huge bull mastiff and two huge sons (6ft 3 in a mostly T-fall bedroom really doesn't work)...she loved it!!!
And... she badgered estate agent to chivvy up folk who put offers on hers and has mortgage appointment for Monday!! Fuuuu!
Me? Well more house sorting etc and....well I will spare you why but I ended up scrubbing acres of carpet with a two inch sponge as well so even my aches have aches.
OK going to take great pleasure in waking my snoring man
Honestly Optimistic, no :-( Went for a coffee with a 'friend?' She said something that upset me, but what really hurt was she didn't understand why it upset me. So as always it was me in the wrong!!
