You and me both with the steroid moon face - I've put on four stone since I started taking the bloomin' things last June - I could create an atlas with the stretch marks on various bits of my body - I hate steroids with a vengeance! Weight is still going on steadily despite reducing the dose as much as we dare. I now weigh more than my husband, who is 6 foot 3!!! 

Still, the oncology team seem to think that the weight gain is the least of my problems - they don't have to deal with the strain on the knees and back, the bruising that appears from nowhere and all the other lovely side effects!  

Still, I'm still alive and that's the main thing I suppose!!!

Thanks Ladies, I texted my boss just to let her know how disappointed/angry I was to hear that she was putting horse riding over my appointment. If nothing else she now understands that this IS a BIG deal to me and maybe next time I ask for a day off she will think twice!

Right now I need to concentrate on tomorrow. Right now I have butterflies and am feeling sick! Just need to get this out of the way then I am off to London tomorrow night :-)

After spending nearly 8 hours at the hospital for my chemo, I'm feeling really tired so will say goodnight. Feeling okay at the moment, expect to feel worse over the next few days.
