    Ha ha

went to get bloods done yesterday pre round 2 Chemo tabs. Got call early afternoon that they needed to do another one as Liver Results did not work !!So went to Chemo Dept 2 different people dug around on my good arm ( not Lymphoedema side), without success veins hiding away! Following heat pad, Chemo nurse now tried and went down to wrist area where she found a compliant vein :-)

One and half hours later saw her again all ok, Chemo tabs given for next 2 weeks and bloods form for next bloods.

In pub with friend having a double G&T the pub which starts with W ends in N :-)

The weather for Vikings I think ;-) Judith xxx

  • Very good Gay. And intruder alarm engineers just crack on and get the job done........

Jo, hope they get to the bottom of your Mg problem.

Jane, sorry you can't make it to Jo's

Sal, only one more day of work for you. Any sign of the thyroid settling down yet?

    Jmp loving the archery girls!!

  •  What a bugger! Still at least they're finally giving you an endocrinology consult. I love my endocrinologist - he's a cross between an angel and a magician. The whole endocrine thing is a dark art!

  • Oh well, I am off to bed now, as shattered! This work thing is harder than I remember and I have hardly done anything!!! Nighty night all, xxx

None of us wanted to be in this group, but we are glad we're not alone.

Diagnosis 2/8/17 IDC Her2+, 22mm, with spread to several lymph nodes. TCHP chemo started 23/8/17, Mx with immediate, temp recon 24/1/18, rads 20/3 to 10/4/18, Herceptin by IV until Nov 18. RR Mx Jan 23. Still waiting for reconstruction, but opting for simple implants, as opposed to Diep, due to long waiting lists for diep.

  • Hahaha as a fellow northerner!

Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!

Can’t get to sleep tonight - nervous about round 2 tomorrow and having Zometa along with it. The port site is still sore as well so not sure what that’ll be like. It seems such a long journey all this and I’m sick and tired of it already.
