The best advice given to me was “ take it one step at a time” . Twinkle51 xx
Hi Twinkle51, I'm sure normal will be harder than it was before all of this! Well done for getting through the first day! Enjoy your sleep.
LondonLass, Sal, you don't have to be gone for long for us to miss you! Are we still on for 7th April? It will be great to meet you and give you a real hug!
and , neither of you has had a good couple of days, so try to rest. I hope you are both okay. Xxx
Everyone else out there, The days, weeks and months are just flying by! Work just doesn't feel real now! It's like we are all in a bubble, an alternate reality. As long as we are all here together though, I can cope. Xxx

None of us wanted to be in this group, but we are glad we're not alone.
Diagnosis 2/8/17 IDC Her2+, 22mm, with spread to several lymph nodes. TCHP chemo started 23/8/17, Mx with immediate, temp recon 24/1/18, rads 20/3 to 10/4/18, Herceptin by IV until Nov 18. RR Mx Jan 23. Still waiting for reconstruction, but opting for simple implants, as opposed to Diep, due to long waiting lists for diep.
Jmp, was it a hospital or Macmillan counsellor? That definitely should not happen.

Here's to all who are being taken advantage of...unknowingly or deliberately...yeah, if you are able to report in person that you have flu ...you DO NOT have it!!! Some people just got to have a not if whatever somebody else got...even if that is absence through I'll health!!
No wonder I am feeling tired and can't keep eyes open....having declared he wanted to be up and out early to Citizens Advice, my man had bath etc etc...and once in town went to a few shops etc before getting there. After waiting an hour in there was given two numbers so not a great help. More shops before home.
He then tried one if the numbers and got into a prerecorded loop so abandoned the new ESA claim in favour of food. After tea trued again. I took over and finally found the actual number needed and sat in queue for ages. The line closes and 6pm and it hit answered at 6pm. Lovely woman... I gave some info and passed phone to my man ...where somehow calk cut off...course couldn't ring back. He cross kuz wants to be at another office first thing... but C slapped down his mood and shortly afterwards on phone he was saying ....get this.... how HE had faffed about and got to Advice Kate and HE had faffed about and not hot ESA call sorted. Wooo...nuff to make a girl faint as not universe or my fault : )
OK off to try some sleep, take care...remember when we have neltdiwns its OK kuz we do it with loads of STYLE : )
