Hi Violetsniff,
Taken from macmillan site,
'Hormonal therapies, such as tamoxifen and aromatase inhibitors (anastrozole, letrozole and exemestane), may also affect your memory and concentration.'
What was I saying???
Still on my backside - lol. Well, have popped to sainsburys since earlier. But I have a really difficult choice, play on my laptop or mark 8 A level Chemistry papers...hmm my concentration levels are just not up to it...
Cwtches,
Gay xxx
Thanks for the welcome back lovely people!
We did redo the bird feeders - we saw more of the woodpecker this time, and had both Mrs and Mrs Pheasant in the garden, but I didn't take the bloomin' camera, so no piccies! Also saw quite a ot of the local buzzard, but he doesn't come down to the table - not sure he's really into peanuts!!!!
Still very tired and weak from the side effects from 1st Feb's drain cleaner, so spent a lot of my time directing my OH doing the hard work down there...
Oncologist has said I need a rest from chemo for a bit to let my body recover, so new drugs planned for April. Lung and bone mets are pretty stable, but the recent CT showed a new lesion on my chest wall which wasn't there in December - sneaky little git disease gets everywhere!
Hi Weeblemum sounds like you had a nice break jealous again of those birdies hoping cold weather will bring more in. Hope the new treatment brings positive news xx
I am a bit of a fraud since my biopsies were best possible scenario and I will not have to endure all that I am reading about here, and it seems therefore not too difficult to adjust to a flat torso but I continue to read your posts and am very much affected by all the courage and cameraderie. It seems like only the BRAVEST and BEST get cancer, wish I could send healing, but I certainly can send love.

Good luck with your chemo tomorrow. Shall be thinking of you. I have scan tomorrow to see if phase 1 chemo has worked. Won't get results until next week.
Sending you love and hugs

glad you had a good break, but bu55er this disease. Hope the new meds work for you.
LondonLass you've been a bit quiet the last few days - are you ok (ish)?
wombat.23 take it easy, you're on well deserved sick leave!!
Deja Vu for me today. Got a big install on, quite a tricky one, and the colleague who went off sick when the last one came up.................. you guessed it, he's off sick. Claims he has flu, but was in the office to let them know and it definitely isn't flu. Head cold maybe. I'm biding my time now - the day will come I'm supposed to help him with something.........................
So I have this install to get done, a massive quote to go out Friday, and transition audit next Tuesday. Oh, and I'm on call till Friday. Might be sleeping at the office later in the week then.
