AWAKE.........

 Lacomtekp  I will definitely be opting in for mammogram when next due. I’m lucky to have had 2 extra. I don’t get results for 2-3 weeks although they did come 1-2 weeks last time.

My Christmas cactus is blooming nicely

I wonder if that’s more an Advent cactus?

A 12 week old baby is certainly easier than a 12 week old puppy who thinks he is a kangaroo and is drawn to eating leaves, tissues, paper and plastic wrappers

He is also nick named baby shark at present as he is a bit nippy when he plays but is getting better.

He is causing fun and chaos in equal measures!

I’ll just call it a flowering cactus moomy  they must all be the same kind just with different names. Just looked at label and that’s what it says

I’ve just ‘googled’ Flossie25  and it seems there’s a ‘Thanksgiving’ cactus which is one blooming in late autumn. I did wonder as my Christmas cactus is only showing tiny buds so far, but it is on a north-west facing cool windowsill in the kitchen!

Mine has been on an easterly side windowsill in the dining room which is generally southerly facing so gets warm when sun out. moomy  It’s definitely started budding early but I can’t recall how it was last year. 

 moomy  just looked at pic from last year and it was definitely flowering in November so obviously an autumnal one. Ill have to look out for a Christmas one.
