I think Lacomtekp ‘s idea of having an emergency case ready is an excellent one and perhaps we should all think similarly ‘just in case’ anything untoward may happen.
It’s so humid here again tonight, but night night Fruit Loops, sleep as well as possible, stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish

Good morning....
Another very hot day expected. I've just watched the weather. It's already 24°.I am going for my walk now.
We were sitting outside last night when our son and daughter-in-law appeared with their camper. We knew they were back together in France but thought they were still in Brittany. Nice surprise. Another son only left on Wednesday. He restarts his school work today with a cerebral palsy pupil.
So I have another busy weekend. Today is a bank holiday.
Take care all.
Daughter is playing in the Proms tonight (just in the first piece) with BBC NOW, and son just posted a recording he’d made practising the ‘Tom Bowling’ solo cello bit of the Last Night of Proms piece (it’s from Henry Woods’ ‘Fantasia on British Sea Songs’) ready for Twinwood festival which I think is next weekend! Really proud of my two musicians!

Hello lovely Fruit Loops,
Well, I've been here reading in the background, however, every time I went to log on I was getting a message saying that my connection isn't private and may be trying to impersonate the website (I've done a screen shot and will post it) ..... this is over my head, so I haven't logged in - just in case. (I've not come here via FireFox Browser).
I hope everyone is as well as can be and is enjoying (sorry hahaha) this hot weather - its so crazy. I've not long purcahsed a portable air conditioning unit and its doing the job, however, I really wanted to put it in the kitchen - kitchen is too small and the unit is too big - so now consevatory - come veranda is 'sort of cool' and kitchen is still to hot and hubby is been very arkward over moving it.
So now it has just turned 4:00am and I am off to bed - I wasn't going to post but had to say to moomy you must be so, so very, very proud of your two children - they sound incredible - I can't play any instruments (I wanted to learn the guitar as a child, I tried hard but as I was left handed it did seem very difficult) so back to the 'triangle' it was
..... and for them to be playing at the Prom's - just wow indeed. I'm so pleased for you.
Right, I have to go to bed and sleep and sleep and sleep - its what I do best hahaha
Night Night Fruit Loops - Love you all xxxx
(forgot the screenshot ...... here it is.....)
Morning all. It's rather early but after some chilled rose and a week with my granddaughter, I was asleep early.
Hubby was obviously as tired as I was. He went to do the weekly shop and came home with two ready meals. We never buy them. We have the very occasional jarof cook in sauce but never ready meals. I was thinking take away.
MRI yesterday. I thought I wasn't going to get it done my bum was touching the machine but with some careful pillow placing they managed to get me in. Thanks to relaxation techniques from yoga I managed to almost drift off and they were very pleased with the images. However last week'sCT scan showed up a patch on my left breast that need closer inspection so it's back to Pinderfields for an ultra sound. Yet another Aqua fit class I will miss.
I will watch the Proms Moomy. You must be very proud. Did anyone see the British Legion service yesterday? At the end there was a violinist playing The Lark Rising. I was in tears and my granddaughter transfixed by it.
I can hear hubby stirring so it might be time for coffee. A cooler day for us I think.
Have a good one
Three times! What did I do?
Daughter was here by just after 9 pm! The piece she played in at the Proms was the first one in the programme, she was involved just in that, I listened and it was a little odd, classical sound interspersed with jazz sounds…. She escaped after that and made her way here!
Sons cello solo will just be in the Twinwood Festival in Bedfordshire but it’s the typical Sea Songs but which is normally played in the popular second half of the Last Night!
I’ve been a little less than super-impressed at this years Proms programme, I’m a keen classical music fan but some of the concerts just aren’t that impressive. I was watching one (typically they aren’t all televised of course and usually shown days or even weeks after actual live performance) and daughter came in and said ‘it’s not a proper Prom, it’s from Gateshead, not the Albert Hall’ - yes, she was right it wasn’t from London but still an enjoyable concert! I understand her thinking, trying to spread the concerts around the country seems a reasonable idea but somehow wrong?
