Good luck Tired Minion it used to be prescribed as an antidepressant, which gave people a good nights sleep and now it's used for nerve pain. People get put on it for shingles.
I hope it does well for you x
I've been to results appointment today. I made a mistake and I've scared myself to death. I have Grade 3 Stage 1 Triple Negative BC. I thought and I've been looking at Stage 3. This means they are pretty confident it is contained in the breast. I was shown the mammogram and the ultrasound. Fascinating.
We discussed the need for genetic testing and after we get results the surgery can be planned. If the MR I or CT show it is contained they would just do a mastectomy. If I insist on a bilateral mastectomy then I would have to have a psychological assessment. Personally I'd I didn't insist I would need a psychological assessment.
So with a much more positive outlook I came home and had my lunch and promptly feel asleep. I was woken by them ringing to book me in for a CT scan on Sunday. I don't think I'll ever get my head round NHS appointments being at a weekend.
Tomorrow we are going off in our new camper van. It has kept us sane this past two weeks getting it ready, refilling it and redoing cushion covers etc. Heading for the East coast and sunshine.
Thank you all for your thoughts ,prayers and kind words. Here's to the next few months.

Three times! What did I do?
Good morning....slightly misty here but it made sunrise interesting.
We are moving into a heatwave....10 days over 35° and a couple over 40°. For some reason we are in the hottest, heat band. Warmer than on the Med today.
We have a rv today for OH. He has, hopefully just a cyst, on his upper lip but it keeps bleeding because he catches it when shaving. So we have to brave the afternoon heat as we're unlikely to be back. I'm glad not to be in Spain though........
For the garden we do still have a little water in the underground, rainwater collector but I'm now saving almost all household water too. Bowls in showers, buckets by sinks.....it does work. The plants seem to filter anything unwanted and they are still thriving. But it's hard work. Every year, I say I will replace everything with cactus but I like flowers so my excuse......it would be too expensive.
Have a good day all.....
I'm glad for you Silverberg if you're happier with the diagnosis. Enjoy your time away xxx
Phew, Silverberg , enjoy that time away!
Night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish
