So lovely Fruit Loops how are you all coping in this heat? I for one HATE the heat……

I only have to move and I’m sweating buckets! Add to that the hot flushes that have definitely increased on my current treatment and you have one really grumpy Sal although I am trying hard not to be! Honest! 

there see, I can be ‘happy’ look a funny gif! But honestly I am struggling. Today is supposed to be highs of 28/29 in Exeter but then according to forecast tomorrow should be lower…. I pray they are right! 

On top of myself and my parents struggling we also have Bella who at almost 11years old is struggling too, bless her.

okay that’s not her, but that’s how she feels I’m sure. Her paddling pool is arriving today so I’m sure this afternoon she will be out in the garden splashing around keeping as cool as she can, I might join her!

Really hope you are all staying as safe and well as you can in this heat. Those of you who love the hot weather hope you are enjoying it, but apologies for wishing it away! Stay safe everyone, remember to drink plenty, stay in the shade and apply lots of sunscreen! Love to you all. Sal xxxx

Oh and Snowys Mum your rabbit is VERY cute! LP has asked if he could come over and play with your new ‘Guinea Pig’ with the Big Ears!! Bless him he continues to make me laugh! Sending (((((hugs))))) your way Hun.

Hello LondonLass  and everyone. I am NOT liking this heat. 31 yesterday. My car said 34 when driving home from office. We have no aircon but it is surprisingly cool in office.  Lots of cold showers. Really struggling to sleep more than usual. Only about 4 hrs 5 if I'm lucky. Drinking lots but peeing for England! Hope everyone else is coping ok?

Thank you all for thinking of me, it’s 29° just now in Bratislava, had a walking tour with a really wonderful guide today, very considerate in finding shady spots to stop and let us see the sights and photograph them…..then a road train ride up to the castle which had stunning views. Our guide pointed out what they know as the ‘concrete jungle’, mass grey housing of the communist era. But the ship, fortunately, has air conditioning and it’s really very comfortable; plus of course we are on the water so again some cooling breeze. 

It’s Gala night tonight, Budapest tomorrow then the following day we depart for railway journeys back to England. I think we stop in Linz and Frankfurt.
