Had my second shingles jab today so hoping I’ll have a better 24hours afterwards … had the paracetamol and ibuprofen. Spotted a healthy looking rat in the back garden last night, came in from farmers field out the back, probably looking for meal worms for the birds. Have a new safe bait box insitu and we have changed bird feeding ways.
Hope the shingles jab doesn’t give you too much trouble, Flossie25 ….rats, yuk!
Been having a lot of trouble going off to sleep just lately (in spite of the fairy dust) so hope tonight is easier. I find sleeping in my Goldie-van is good, though so perhaps ought to get away more, haha!

LondonLass hopefully LP made it back to you. He kindly met me at the new park n ride as they are building a new multi storey car park at hospital and I never park there. A 2 hour round trip for a 5 min mammogram! I have to wait 2-3 weeks for result. We stopped off at costa when leaving so he had hot choc and a pain au chocolat. He was very well behaved!
It will also be my 4 year anniversary of surgery on Sunday and 4 days before my birthday so a busy time. Trying not to reflect too much but I do need to realise what I have overcome and got through in that time (for those that haven't read my story it includes relocation and my Dad passing).
Oh well off to sleep i try but who am I kidding i still wake at 4am for no reason. I think the lack of sleep is the worst thing sometimes and don't get me started on the hot flushes which have also come back!
Hello, I used the park and ride at Derby last week for the first time (had my final Zoledronic infusion). I really enjoyed the bus ride lol, much better than stressing in the ridiculous long queue for the car park. Good luck with your result xx
Hope mammo results are clear Tired Minion andmoomy I had my 5 year mammo last week as well. Scan anxiety is real but I find waiting for results the worst part. Not only am I waiting for mammo results but also from a follow up chest x ray and blood test to see if a stubborn chest infection is now clear. These tests - 6 weeks after last rounds- all had to be done last week and now I have come south on holiday!! So that makes waiting for results even worse as supposed to be relaxing on holiday !! Staying with our son for the weekend and then going to Aldeburgh for a week. Hopefully the delights of grandchildren and the seaside break will distract me. All best wishes to all the Fruit Loops X
