.
I know it’s early for hay fever , but I do succumb early.
Henry-dog has settled very quickly back into his normal routine here.
Daughter is busy recording excerpts for that Radio 4 programme she got interviewed for a couple of days ago, I think it goes out a week tomorrow. She said it was really challenging but great fun.
Yesterday she had a long wait for bloods at the Churchill, the haematologist is wondering if the increase in ferritin levels (obstinately rather too high) is down to her bone marrow donors DNA. So I think that’s what they are going to be looking for. Complicated!

Good morning.....
I hope you are all as well as can be expected. I have read your posts ......but this last ten days have been extremely busy. We just have one appointment left now for OH on Monday afternoon with the cardiologue. This one is important as it's an extra....referred between normal check ups because his blood pressure is too high and he is breathless when starting anything. Luckily the afternoon means less rush. Most of the others have been early mornings with an hours drive first. I must be more careful when I'm offered times. 10.00 sounds ok when the secretary says it and it's six months away but actually it usually means leaving home by 08.30 to get parked and walk to clinic!
Most of our checks were fine. Unfortunately I have an eye problem again ( they had settled for a few years) which will need monitoring again in three months but neurology was quite pleased and just tweaked the odd drug. OH's diabetes is also under control and he saw a new specialist who seemed nice. She spoke English which helps when he's stressed. I do translate but sometimes. . ...I couldn't take mum and go with him......he must go on his own.
So fingers crossed Monday will be ok then we can go away next weekend to celebrate our golden wedding. Not far.....but a lovely city built into a meander so a hotel on the river and everywhere in walking distance.... We thought our trip to Lisbon was our treat but a son gave us the money to go somewhere nice next weekend as work commitments and distance mean a family lunch will need to be delayed until later. Also I wasn't ready. .....without mum.....for a party.
Take care. I hope you have a nice weekend. We have sun but it is cooler for a day or so.
I'm home again after a visit to my goddaughter and her parents. Didn't go quite to plan as I was struck with really quite bad treatment related diarrhoea, but still had a good time.
Lacomtekp fingers crossed tomorrow for your OH and his appt. Sorry yo hear about your eyes, but hope you both have a wonderful trip next weekend.
Oh no, BoxOfFrogs , hope that D has eased off now? It’s miserable, isn’t it?
Lacomtekp thinking of you and OH…
thinking of all of you dear Fruit Loops…
night night, Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish

I do hope appointment goes well today Lacomtekp … and get prepared for your golden wedding Anniversary trip. Fingers crossed your eye problem settles too.
BoxOfFrogs hope s/e has settled and stays that way
Ive got an Oncology appointment next month so need to think of questions although I’m sure I wrote some down … somewhere!! I’m thinking of having another break off Letrozole as energy levels are depleted, joints seizing and mood dodgy. (could still be post viral?). The break I had last year helped.
We are back to car hunting
Im back to telling myself I need to be more active re exercise so I’m starting today
“ The only constant thing in life is change “
I'm back to being more digestively settled now, phew! And enjoyed the sunshine we had today. Pretty tired from doing lots of things, but sometimes it's worth the tiredness.
Flossie25 how are you doing with your exercise one day in? I'm on letrozole but am on so many drugs it's hard to attribute side-effects correctly. And good luck with preparing for onc appt. I've found that preparation goes out the window as soon as I'm in the room.
