Not visible to naked eye need to use camera to see them .. phone camera can do 

Mine were mostly iPhone photos with a 3 second exposure. I’ve only ever seen a glimpse of the northern lights before, this was just about visibly with the naked eye but the camera picked it up so well. And this was way south, near Milton Keynes, with light pollution too!

We are over in Ibiza for a few days. Our son and daughter in law flew over from UK, so we flew over from Alicante to join them. Not quite the Northern Lights, but really stunning sunsets!

My phone wasn’t very clear moomy  Daughters phone much better . Have seen a change of light in the past at Cumbria with no light pollution but nothing like this . 
Like you have wanted to see them hopefully one night in Cumbria where we have no light pollution on our site 

Ive been awake all night with Dexter poorly tummy desperate to get out so spent most of night up and down .

Hubby finally got up at 6am and took over . Dexter got rid of nasty stuff and now sleeping peacefully.

Off to Cumbria hopefully more lights tonight 

Thankyou moomy I am afraid I can’t “react”as it says “react flag”and I am not sure what that means!!Yes it is certainly worth visiting.I take all my visitors if they have time and inclination.I used to catch the first bus and sit by the lake under a tree,as it wasn’t even open yet!
Loving the pics of the Aurora….I went to bed and am quite mad I missed it.Do you have to be up high?xx
