Hi Flossie25 , I’m well thank you. Eye good concert on Saturday last, hard work but enjoyed it. In May I’m doing 2 solos with my previous choral society. Need to practise!
We go on holiday tomorrow, to Welburn, near Castle Howard. It is in the village where my son lives. Glad we will be nearby, as he has recently been diagnosed with colon cancer, and has just finished radiotherapy. He is coping well. Saturday night we are having a family meal, with the grandchildren’s partners as well.
How is your eye treatment going? Hope it is working. Xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Sounds as though you are in full swing seaspirit44 regarding your singing. So pleased your son is through his radiotherapy .. enjoy your family gathering at the weekend. Safe travels to North Yorkshire. I’ve actually never been to Castle Howard but might get to a proms event if they have one on.
Eye treatment continues, but not as often… 4 months since last one… it is what it is.
xx

Hello....
I was pleased to read most peoples tests are either ok or explainable and not to serious which means other treatments can continue. That's good news.....
Mum is home again from her stay with my sister. Her collar bone seems to be healing or at least is less painful. I was a little cross to learn that although I had to pick mum up this morning after only three days with my sister, they are not leaving until Saturday and sailing Monday night. So she could have spent at least one more day with them which I'm sure she'd have found less confusing and I would have had a little longer to recuperate.
In the mean time we did get to Bordeaux and bought a 'new to us' car plus a night on the town!
I have peonies about to open too. I hope the night doesn't get too cold tonight.
Hi mag123, congratulations on the new role. Just fabulous that you’ve had a lot of offers I hope that shows you how amazing you are. If it’s not right move again. All of us appreciate that life’s too bloody short to put up with that abuse.
so glad you are getting chance to relax a bit.

Lacomtekp , glad you’ve found ‘the car’ you want, and hope all goes well now. So sorry your sister has done that to you, but glad your Mum is in less pain.
Snowys Mum a frosty chilly night is forecast tonight, if you’ve got any old cardboard boxes to pop over those peony buds it might save them from chill? It’s a way of protecting if needed. Horticultural fleece is best of course, but it’s an expense unless you’ve got any already.
Northerner , was the softie that used to have a chat with your chin the supplied one? I’m wondering if a strategically attached safety pin might help for my special event which is almost 2weeks from the op date. I will have to be in ‘fancy dress’, a mocked up Wren outfit.

Wow you are all so busy.
moomy do you have your results yet or did I miss it.
gardening stuff looks fab looking forward to being fit enough to get in the garden.
Love to all
Hi Mumofthree , how are you doing? CT showed up liver concern, nuclear bone scan showed arthritis in base of spine and sacrum (knew that already!) and liver scan showed gallstone and cysts, so surgery is going ahead on 7th. I still don’t know HER2 but suspect it’s negative as it seems it’s the same as the original cancer, just spread from the barely complete scrape of skin. Surgeon is happy that all is ok. She’s doubly wary as I bled so badly the first time they had to repeat the surgery, so apparently she might be thinking of a battery driven compression thingy to stop my body forming seromas? So says the lovely assistant who did the bra fitting.

moomy Hi yes the chatty softie was the supplied one and yes if you’re not wearing a bra with a pocket initially then a safety pin would work to keep in place . To be fair most of the problem is because they are lightweight .
If you are able to wear your usual bra then the press stud pockets would hold around strap then pin at bottom .Also bear in mind you will most probably have some swelling so a back strap extender might help . You can also get hook on straps to go across back strap to strap to stop that annoying strap falling off shoulder .
All sounds so much trouble but really isn’t and also not long til you get prosthetic which feels really heavy til it in place and stays there lol
All trial and error hope it works hugs (())
