It looks very warm and cosy. Where did you get it from? X
Love the lilac coat. Well done going for an uplifting colour. I'm still grieving not buying my new boots in red patent and going for safe black !
We having an eventful Christmas. Daughter fell Christmas morning in her house so trip to minor injuries and fractured elbow. Thank hod unit open as our A& E waiting times horrific at 9-12 hours. We were in and out in 40 minutes at the unit. Yesterday recalled to fracture clinic and it needs a plate & pinning so now awaiting call to go in for surgery. She's staying with me as her hand and arm completely immobilised. It's her right arm and she's left handed but still restricted. Add in she has ocd and needs to wash her hands a lot and you can't wash one hand on your own. Todays job for me is to shave her legs, hospital ready - priorities Hopefully be on the mend soon. We definitely need the laughing reaction button.
She made it to my 60th birthday party a couple of days ago thankfully as she'd organised it. Her poor hubby under instruction for room decoration
Hope all those going through active treatment over Christmas coping & new year brings better things,
It has been announced in our region of Spain that as from today msk wearing when visiting hospitals and health centres has been reintroduced. It's been noticeable how many more people have been wearing masks in the street for the past couple of weeks. Cases of COVID have increased quite alarmingly apparently.
It was very noticeable when I was in for mammo on Wednesday, 50% wearing masks and lots of coughing and spluttering! I’m glad masks masks reinstated, it so makes sense. The extra long festive season in Spain is taking its toll. My husband and I had Covid in September and have had jabs since so hopefully both resistant to another bout.
About time that Health reintroduced masks in all areas! I’ve not stopped wearing a FFP2/3 when indoors in areas and with people I don’t know.
So very sorry about your daughter, Grogg , must be giving you all difficulties with her problems. I hope the surgery goes well. I hope they understand her troubles, and can help her through it all safely without distressing her.
Night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe in this awful weather (another storm is blowing around!), plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish
hugs xxx

Well here I am awake too.
Now, I love my sleep and would win awards if there were such a thing, but those darn night sweats are here. Window wide open only a sheet to cover me.
I was on HRT but greedy cancer just ate it all up, waiting for radiotherapy (so some anxiety about that) and then Anastrazole. I don't know how I will cope, any advice???
I shall be thinking of you on Thursday Dicha I hope you get your results through quickly.
So sorry to hear you were awake in the night Marley2023 I hope you manage to get some rest during the day. Is it worth talking to your BCN to see whether you could swap to another tablet.I take Letrozoke which is similar to Anastrozole. I have many side effects but night sweats is not one that affects me often. It might be you would do slightly better on one of the other meds.
I am so sorry to hear about your daughter's arm Grogg To fall is bad enough but for the break to need surgery is just pure bad luck. I hope you were able to have a happy Christmas despite the accident. You were definitely fortunate to have such a swift visit to the clinic on Christmas day!
I've not read back so my apologies to anyone who is going through it at the moment and I've not mentioned. But I am always thinking about the fruit loops.
I finally got to see my grandchildren yesterday afternoon as the norovirus has gone (although I do still feel very tired).
My 6 year old grandson was still at his Daddy's when I arrived. When he got back he was so excited because my daughter and fiance had made up his new marble run ready. My grandson had asked his Daddy if he would get him the marble run for Christmas but his Daddy said no as he had to buy things for his new baby due with his gf in March. So my grandson bought it himself with his Christmas and birthday money. My grandson spent the rest of the time I was round, playing with the marble run.
