Mag123 I'm sorry about your job. How absolutely horrible of them. Are there any suitable vacancies available? Hoping something comes up.
Violetsniff don't apologise for putting up a nice post, its lovely you're enjoying yourself and raising funds for the church. I went to church on Sunday it was very nice.
I have had the day from hell. Car vandalised again. Verbally abused by the gang of kids on the street and their parents when I asked them who had done it. The street gang kids actually came up with a name of who they say has done it. I have contacted the police (again) apparently a police officer is going to visit. But these kids just laugh at the police. One of the kids actually verbally abused me in Asda today, told me to F off said he didn't care about my car. This was with his grandfather stood next to him, mortified. His Mum came and apologised. But the family who all came out to abuse me, I went and saw their landlord and complained. He was very nice, he is desperate to get rid of them.
Anyway, never mind, its only a car and I'm.used to being told to F off. As long as we have no evidence of disease, we are winning ladies xxx
That sounds like a horrid day Snowys Mum I don’t know how you coped, I would have been so upset - I like your tip to think of no evidence of disease being the important thing when having a bad day.
Daisy53 Sending very best wishes to you. I hope you are recovering ok xx
I’ve not been here for about three weeks. I remember my daughter was about to go back to Uni, but then she ended up staying until the other day, life has been a bit of a blur for these past three weeks.
So back to situation normal, I am home alone, OH working away but back tomorrow. And I’m lying here with my Covid jabbed arm, tired, but not sleepy …
Hugs to all, xx
So if your job not redundant who is going to do your work. You may have been discriminated against due to your cancer treatment as you are covered by disability discrimination act. Please speak to MacMillan about your rights. The onus is on employer to show you were fairly selected for redundancy because your job ceases to exist .
Mag123 You can’t be made redundant if your job still exists in its current form. They cannot employ someone else in the role either for at least 3 months. Are you in the position of being at risk & potentially having to reaply for it with others? Sorry if you said this in a previous post. I’ve been in your position & it isn’t nice. I had one boss, a board director of a huge corporate, who advertised my job while I was on holiday - don’t ask! My colleagues stepped in as it was effectively constructive dismissal - they made him phone me & grovel. It all got sorted. Thinking of you.x
A Giant Duvet for all on this page who are going through shockingly difficult times.
Gosh…I feel so sorry for you!as if you haven’t got enough to deal with!
thnakyou,Snowys Mum thankyou so much but I was just aware there was some very sad posts either side of it and it felt a little out of place.but it was all the news I had xx
Snowys Mum …I feel so sorry for your terrible time with bully’s.Gosh I hate bullies!!
I have a set here at my flat.I am at a window where people go by to put washing on line.I would never do this, but many people take the short cut.I asked a man and wife if they would mind not doing that as I had come out of hospital after cancer and sidnt want them to glance in and see me in a vest as it was an aextremely hot summer…and bras were a no-no.
I had nets but needed electric light as was doing lots of crafty things and reading.(my only hobbies)all day.
the man apologised but his wife brought her son and played with him right outside my window!I can only think that she doesn’t understand what I said as she is foreign.
But I think she did….Committee we’re hopeless at the time xx
Injustice has always upset me.
There are a generation of people who seems to find entertainment in being dreadful xxx
I feel sorry for them. They have not been taught any better xx
Mag123 how is the job thing going? Grogg and April2021 seem to know your rights, tell your bosses they have to abide by the law.
Violetsniff yes she did know (the lady who purposefully went outside your window) next time she pegs anything on the washing line, throw it on the floor and jump on it....ha ha as if we could.
Where i live, there are 18 houses and 15 have lovely kind decent people, hard working with nice kids. Only 3 houses have the street gang kids, with the none working parents, and they spoil it for everyone. Boyfriend has again secured my wing mirror with cable ties, till they rip it off again.
This morning I was sat out in my garden with the rabbit having our breakfast and the police came to the end house, (not related to my incident). This is something else. Then a police helicopter was flying overhead, so never a dull moment.
Good luck to everyone and hope people are having a good day xxx
Nightmare neighbours everywhere. It's at a different level now. They probably feel unimportant unless someone notices them. I know someone who's mentally ill neighbour wakes her up every night banging and scraping on the wall.
We don't know what nightmares are going on in their heads.
