      thank you but he would never apply for anything like that. He has loads of money (not that he ever spends it) and even if he did the daughter would get it not me. I saw the sunflower Sunflower lanyard in a friend's house so because of you I understood what it was for xxx

    All I have been doing is online courses for this new job. 30 down, 10 to go. If anyone needs evacuating in a fold up chair I am your woman xxx

  • Sounds as if you’re coping well with that course,  , hope you’re coping well as possible with poor BF.

    Hope you’re improving,  , take it easy, and rest up, Covid isn’t kind!

    Night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish (need to take paracetamol with mine tonight, too much lifting of loads of pieces of wood!)

  • Well done  !!

    @Mag23

    so sorry you have COVID and so sorry can’t tag you xxxx

  • Morning everyone. I am still feeling really poorly. This is such a nasty strain of covid. I feel so so much worse than when I had it in 2021. I am going to get myself to my computer and do some work as it will distract me from my symptoms. My chest hurts so much. Yes I am eligible for the antivirals but the side effects scare me and the fact they aren't freely available makes me extremely wary. But if I start getting worse today I might just have to call about getting them.

  • Thank you everyone for your well wishes. More than I get from my own daughter who is just annoyed I might not be taking my grandson to school on Friday!!

  • Aw hope you get some relief soon. Surely after coming through this you aren't afraid of antivirals? I've been hearing people telling me not to get the Covid jab. Your post makes me think I should get it, esp at my age.

    I had Covid once, it took me 3 wks to recover. The cold I had a few months later was worse, I presume because we hadn't been getting cold due to masking. No one can tell you what to do, Google it make your decision based on advice.

  • I haven't had the covid jab since the initial 2 as I caught it about a month before I would have been due the booster. Then after that with all the people I know who have been affected by the jab  I have been too wary to have it again. Yes I agree,  one just has to make up one's own mind based on one's own experiences and that is a really hard decision to make. Yes I might not have been so ill if I had had a jab, but then I know people who have been just as ill with it and they have had every booster going! This strain is unpleasant but then colds and flu this time of year are never nice to have.

    I have lost my sense of taste again which is annoying!
