AWAKE.........

I’ve done half an hour or so of gardening today, lovely to feel it’s possible. I’ve seeds to put in soon, for courgette, peas, (already got tomatoes growing) and also some flowers for cutting. Yesterday I got presented with a basket of small plants, (4 of them) and want to keep 2 going, a parlour palm and a chrysanthemum. So lots to do still

 Lacomtekp Lovely memorial to   I’m sure many of us missed her when her posts stopped. 
Well, finally a short break booked for next month but still undecided about which car to get. This has been a dilemma for some years lol. 
Is there going to be a meet up this year? I know HappyFeet1  has mentioned it on walking thread. 
Im looking forward to some warmer weather. I’d be happy with just a few degrees more, and a good washing/drying day.

I was talking to LondonLass who suggested a meet up, we are thinking about Birmingham as it’s more central for anyone coming from north AND south? And planning early April..,.

Hi Fruit Loops, I believe a few people have been asking about a possible meet up! 

Well as moomy has mentioned, I have arranged a small meet up, currently 4 of us and 1 maybe! 
I am more than Happy for anyone who feels like they would like to join us to please let me know and then we can perhaps book a table! 

Birmingham New Street Station (place to be arranged)

The last few meet ups, prior to Covid, were in All Bar One! Assuming that’s still there and open, it’s probably where we’ll meet! TBC! 

 LondonLass  as much as I'd love to come and meet you all in the flesh, so to speak, I think it would be a bit of a trip from Spain...so I'll just be thinking of you all on April 5th. Have fun!!

Loved the 2 meet ups I managed to go to in Birmingham. Lots of chat and laughter! Can’t do 5th April unfortunately but will be with you all in spirit! 
Looking at trying to get a meet up together in London, maybe Kings Cross now it’s all done up. There’s a little nature reserve with a cafe which could be a possibility. I’m mainly on the Walking back to happiness thread so will post something more there.

Sadly, as I am going on holiday at the end of the following week I don't think I could take another day off work in April. I am also not sure I could drive that far at tge moment with the pains in shoulder and back. I hope you all have a lovely catch up xx
