  • That is so kind Santababy thank you. I have cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom and just indulged myself with a long soak in the bath and a smother of Laura Ashley hand cream now I am dry and curled up in bed.

  • Thank you Daisy53. I have done way more cleaning than I can usually manage so I am feeling I deserve an evening curled up with my book. I am reading the Anton du Beke books. He is a surprisingly good writer!

  • Have a lovely time curled up with your book. You deserve it. Sorry you had a tough day. *Hugs*

  • Sorry you’ve had a bad day   and sorry for being negative but I do think you need to be demoted  if not dismissed from washing up or drying dishes ! Surely there must be someone close by whom would never drop anything so therefore should be in charge of that role …..

Meanwhile enjoy your curl up with Anton Joy

  • Awww,    Yes Letrozole is an enemy at times! Enjoy Anton, yes, he’s not a bad writer at all, and a really nice guy, (I’ve met him!) just as he appears on the media!

Night night Fruit Loops all, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish, wherever (hope it’s still getting as far as Spain?!)

    hugs xxx

  • Ooh where didvyou meet Anton moomy? He certainly comes across on TV as a nice guy.

I am on my third of his novels. Easy read. I can pick it straight back up after nodding off and I don't have to re read a few pages to remind myself of the narrative.

A reasonable night's sleep. I cleaned kitchen and bathroom thoroughly yesterday and walked to the shops and back so was pretty exhausted. Tidying to do this morning as we are meeting friends for a carvery and then they are coming back after for coffee. I have realised what a state I have let the house get into since Christmas!

There are snowdrops outlined the garden and the magnolia is full in bud.Signs of Spring approaching!

  • I was seen 3 times by physios,2018, 2020 and 2021. First time I had thick cording and was given massage to do (hubby did it too). 2nd time I couldn’t raise arm up from side/pain and was given exercises. The 3rd time  I had reduced movement/discomfort/tightness from elbow and around shoulder. I was diagnosed with mild lymphoedema plus physio stretched shoulder which released some of the adhered structures. I was told I could do yoga, Pilates, tai chi… exercises that stretch the affected arm/shoulder but to keep off doing planks etc

this is my go to stretch for chest/shoulder/arm which my physio said to do. That pose is stretching right side. Can straighten upper leg too.
I have exercises given by first community physios which I can send you.
    have you seen physio?

  • Thanks you Moomy and Mag123 for the Anton recommendation!! I was looking for an easy read replacement series (I’m coming towards the end of the Rosie Clarke ’Mulberry Lane’ series), so have checked out my local library and they are all there!! I see that there are several promotion events coming up to promote his new book (March 2023) and series, but not one near me unfortunately.
