Snowys Mum decisions decisions re work …… Hope you get battery sorted. Luckily we found new battery charger in garage which we didn’t know we had. When my old cars battery went flat last year I borrowed one from neighbour but looked as though it should have been in Beamish. Just used jump leads and neighbours car to get it going instead. Sounds as though you might need to dig car out ?
LondonLass fingers crossed for Tuesday.
I was awake at 4 ish this morning, listened to audio book and dozed a bit…. then felt hungry around 05.30 so had to have breakfast. Think I had a couple of hours after that.
Had new toilet fitted end last year. “Smell” gradually noticeable over time so think it might be seal to drain prob. Reminds me of a similar problem with another toilet.
Fingers crossed car starts this morning.

Oh, I feel for you with flat batteries! One advantage of a moho with hook up…..but she did take her time starting up when it was really cold. I’m not even sure about jump leads!
LondonLass I’m so glad you haven’t got too long to wait, and hope they can reassure you swiftly after the appointment. Hoping for good news.
Swift chilly walk for essentials this morning, Henry doesn’t seem keen on breakfast this morning; but then he’s sometimes like that.
Hugs to you all xxx

Good luck LondonLass , hope it is all OK. Thank you Violetsniff fir the suggestion. Got a grey box now, will it tag now? Snowys Mum that is awful, would really upset me. I would confront them, but then you have to work with them!
My eye Hosp appt went very well. Most of the retinal haemorrhage has cleared. They will continue to monitor me. I am going to need laser in L eye for lens capsule opacity ( from cataract op) but not yet, so happy with that. Xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
That’s great news about your eye, seaspirit44 , and yes, Laser for capsule opacity is apparently very straightforward and fast, one of my friends had that a couple of years back. I’m needing the second cataract sorted, it’s getting a bit more noticeable now.

Good Afternoon lovely people
My car battery is being charged as I speak. Apparently it is new but was standing in water which wouldn't help it. A hole is to be drilled for drainage. Its a Smart Car the battery is under the passenger footwell.
Well...I didn't sleep much with being upset ( I know I'm lucky thats all that's keeping me awake) So I confronted Miss cardigan switcher by Text. She was horrified at the accusations and denied it completely. So it must have happened by accident because actually that patient was taken to the dentist. So maybe cardigans where flung on and off in the excitement of the taxi etc and mine got carried away. So I had to apologise to her and promise to be friends forever.
Feel a fool but slept this afternoon. Mr Grass may get away with it as I'm exhausted with it all.
Thank you for your support xx
Grogg you are formidable xxx
Brilliant @Northerner
(Sorry I just tried to do my own advice with the grey box and it DIDNT WORK!!It must have heard us.)
An Aunt of mine told me to do that with someone a long time ago…It proved to be invaluable..
seaspirit44 .and LondonLass .the return button thing…It often does, and it isn’t me to thank…I read somewhere on here said to do it and I did ….I just can’t remember who it was….
off to read more posts now….xx
LondonLass I do hope it all goes well.As you probably know, things are done for diagnosis certainty and not necessarily because they think there is “anything wrong”….but I know that probably won’t help you.
Grogg i just sent you a post but it jumped off the page and got lost. How do we get the powers that be to make it completely ok on here technically speaking?
Shall we get placards and stand outside of Number 10?
sorry…in a silly mood…but we don’t need this really!
Violetsniff I was just reading a post of yours about ward nasty going's on and it jumped off the page.
It sounded like bullies
