Sadly because daughter is so vulnerable and is still struggling with a bug since late August, I checked on line and it should be 10 days after their first positive test, so we’ve decided on a second Christmas on the 30th at mine! I will cook my famous lasagne for all, plus there will no doubt still be left over nibbly bits!

Moomy
Glad you enjoying Motherland moomy , I like it's just 30 minute episodes too.
Second Christmas is good. I did one mid January as my daughter was travelling around Asia over Christmas. My poinsettia was in full flower, I had a sale sprouts Merry Xmas banner and extended family for lunch. We had crackers, a £1 lucky dip as place cards - we had a winner £25. It was so much more relaxed than usual Christmas dinner as no pressure,
Where does time go ... has it really been a week since I last logged on!!! Last week the cars battery was as flat as a pancake. It didn’t like the cold, and it is old, but we have a battery charger and it worked a treat within 2 hours. Need a new car ( been on the case trying to decide since 2018 !!!). I’ve had a catch-up with local friends this week and also went to Minster with hubby for Christmas concert by local Bach choir with appearance by children’s stage school choir. I seem to have been around too many shops this week. Today seeking cauliflower and broccoli but as usual came away with more than planned. Another trip out tomorrow as hubby has hospital appt, so need to pop into shop that has Indian cookery veg etc. Also might get Xmas pressie shopping done ... chilled about that. Plan to bake on Saturday. Love reading about everyone’s crafting prowess. I need to do something to keep my brain cells on the go. Would like to join a group ideally.
Tired Minion sending hugs.
Northerner congrats on finishing treatment

Just been contacted by one of the guests at my OH's birthday party last Saturday telling is he has covid. Wondering if someone at the party had it and are we all about to go down with it. My throat feels a bit scratchy tonight so will test in the morning.
