@violetsniff I would sell via Facebook. Both your own page and if you have local selling pages. Factor in postage. I would guess about £2.50 per item non tracked - I looked at images f them. They are gorgeous. Th3n there are asking friends to sell them for you. Donating the money. If there is a short text code on site they could donate by text and charities very happy for you to supply a reference so they see what's being raised . The advantage of this is that they can do gift aid so £1 donated us 1.20 to charity. If you donate strictly speaking you can't do gift aid on items you've sold as it's not your own money. If you have any local luncheon clubs or local homes you could ask if you could leave in basket for sale in lounge etc.
Years ago when working I bought the sparkly lanyards for ID cards for £1. I only bought 20 and sold them for £2 each to colleagues via honesty box in staff kitchen. I said suggested donation £2 and 100% of it would go to brain tumour research. I had £50 to donate as some obviously overpaid.
I've been sewing today. Making a tote bag. I bought a metre of upholstery fabric in local fabric shop - they had loads of rolls for £5 a metre. I've boxed the corners on bag and lining, made the handles. Still need to sew lining in to bag and finish but big upgrade on my pin holder !!! Blooming sweating in class. They had heating on but temperature outside was 18.5 !

I should have been in Birmingham today, with hubby, but cancelled as person we were meeting couldn’t make it. Probably just as well because the weather has been rubbish. Applied for train ticket refund late last night, had a good lie in for a change, a good brunch then watched the news. Couldn’t make it up. Can’t believe Boris would put himself forward as candidate considering he was shown to be a liar, untrustworthy and broke Gov made laws ... still under investigation. Where is Rishi Sunak? Going to be interesting seeing who are the candidates.
