Dumb question, but how do you make people get a mention in your replies? When they appear green and bold? Ta all. X
Karen22. So you start with @ symbol and immediately start typing name and you'll get options if name something common like Jack so it's easier to keep typing more of name .
LondonLass. I used love hemp CBD oil . My hip was seizing and couldn't walk further than end of my drive most days. Now I'm back walking miles. I put one full dropper of the flavoured oil under my tongue each night for 2 minutes
So sorry to hear about the passing of Norman.
Do you think the travelling and change of scenery might unsettle Graham if he has not been used to you taking him away with you?
Ah thank you Karen22. I have been able to think about when I might start back at work. I just couldn't contemplate it while I was waiting for the results. I am so tired still but I think that is a side effect of the letrozole so I shall just have to cope with that once I am working again.
Can I ask advice please? How long did those of you through your RT/ Chemo take off before returning to work? I am feeling seriously under pressure. I originally took 2 weeks off after the operation in September 2021. Then I had 2 weeks off 5 months later. Then hit a brick wall 10 weeks ago and have been off since then.
Hi Mag123,
I’d say don’t got back until you feel you’re 100% ready.
Back in 2013 (age 51) my first diagnosis I had a terrible boss, on my own and no sick pay. I only had 2 operations and 20 days RT (no chemo) and worked through it except for 4 days for surgery. Looking back it was very stupid, and I suffered the consequences during the next year. Things didn’t improve with my boss, and ended up leaving 2 years later.
I am lucky this time round as not working, but being a bit older I really don’t think I could have done it all this year.
If you can take time for yourself and recover, better for your employer too to have a happy and recovered employee returning? xx
