At least the tiny knits grow quicklyNortherner
I used our Portugal trip to knit a jacket for our local waitress' baby. Her mother told me she likes modern so nothing traditional layette. End result...
Chloe arrived on Jan 20th so I got back just right
to
hand it over to grannie for the new mum.
Your baby looks gorgeous. I missed seeing Chloe. Sent my men shopping on their own and when they stopped for coffee....she was there but I wasn't! Of course they.never thought to bring me a photo.......
Lacomtekp
That looks lovely Karen and yes your right the knit grows so quickly I did these before she was born hat/ poncho plus some scratch mittens
Just started a little jacket similar to the one you have done .
I love all this wonderful knitting. You are so clever Lakomtekp and Northerner. I have bought a pattern to make my granddaughter a cardigan but it looks complicated!
If you get stuck....message me. I helped another lady from this site with her first knitting.....I was in hospital after an operation linked to the cancer and she kept photographing the pattern and asking me to explain it....line by line sending the instructions back through the ether! At least it kept me busy in the evenings as I was in rehabilitation by then. However at the end, we had a chick ( she did it very well actually)........it was for a Macmillan coffee morning and in total her friend raised nearly £2000.......
Loving all the knitting! And new babies have a great trip Moomy, blowing a gale here, night all, sleep well x
