.
Thank you. Dressings coming off later today. Nervous seeing what's underneath!!
Hi Snowys Mum
Fingers crossed you stay covid free. I caught covid 5 days after my breast cancer op. I was lucky and only had one morning where I found breathing laboured but then I also suffer from asthma so it probably set that off.
There are some amazing cat recue places around. I have 4 cats all from a local rescue. If you let them know, they could take in the strays and leave you free to get your new place.
Wishing all a good day full of happy outcomes. Back to work for me now. So tired!!
Well Scan done! Sore arm but other than that all went well. So…..

2 whole weeks….

Why does that seem like forever…..
Hope you are all having a good day and Thank you for all the well wishes! Xxxxx
Mag123 should you be working if you just had radiotherapy,.you are bound to be tired and low white cell count which makes you susceptible to infection? Says me who worked all way through like an idiot. And I know people have jobs to keep and bills to pay. Take it easy flower
Regarding cats I can't catch them!! Even with a trap, which they know all about, as been caught before for neuter purposes. They are proper wild little hunters. Actually the girl who lives next door who has 5 kids wants to buy mine to knock through then she has a 6 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms. But she is training to be a midwife and has begged me to stay until she qualifies and can get another mortgage. So really I shouldn't go online looking at gorgeous apartments!!
Oh I should say the girl next door will take on the cats and feed em when I go xx
Snowys Mum, Although I am signed off sick I prefer to work to keep distracted from thinking about everything.
Also I couldn't pay the mortgage on statutory sick pay!
How long is midwifery training? You have to do what wprks for you. Sounds like your neighbour will take on the strays anyway.
I am taking a lunch break and have 2 of the 4 cats curled up on the sofas with me. Would definitely be easier not to go back to work!
It's so hard isn't it. I have a strange type of allergy. I do have hay fever which I control in peak months but throughout the year I get blocked nose and tight chest sleeping lying down. I take Rhinocort - just one squirt before bed and it stops it happening . Doctor just shrugged at my problem years ago after deciding I wasn't asthmatic. Pharmacist suggested as he said it could be allergy to bedding, detergent etc. it works and as my sinuses not inflamed I can easily miss a night dose with little effect. I also put a few drops of olbas oil in my pillow. I'm diabetic too and find my metformin can cause dry mouth and it will last week or so. Even my teeth feel coated . I gargle frequently with mouthwash through the day - when working I kept a bottle in my desk. It does help remove the dry coating it only lasts an hour or so. Radiotherapy does dehydrate you so up your water inter take as much as you can. It really helps x
And that's how I feel with motivation! sends you to sleep. So need to try and conjure up some oomff for work x
