Love these cartoons, especially the Manogram !!!!
I went to a birthday party for a 2 year old the other day - it wasn't any different. We got in the wrong queue for sandwiches as well. There was food for adults and food for little children My husband mistook the jam sandwiches for ham. All of it was yummy !
This reminded me of the times I wanted to hit the next person to tell me " You look so well " after being told had cancer /MX and on chemo
always felt like apologising .
Thought I would do this again for Christmas
God ! Yes ! I made it clear that the next person ( who had never had cancer in their life ) told me I was lucky the cancer was at early stages and just stay motivated was getting some serious verbal from me .
Of course we all know to stay motivated , look for opportunities to appreciate life but it’s also ok for us to have our shitty days . That doesn’t make us weak . It means we are human .
Quite frankly I have learnt over the last 2 months that the only people I want to discuss my cancer journey with are people who are on it or were on it . I find it easier that way .
I haven’t left old friendships behind , quite the reverse. But I leave my cancer talk to a needs to know basis .
Let’s face it . None of us knew what BC really looked like so it’s probably unfair of me to expect other people to .
Tip for the day Sunseekers
Max Richter sleep . It’s worth a listen .

I've been trying to do the Breast Cancer Now Moving Forward course to well try and move on. There's a lovely Welsh volunteer on it who when was told 'you look well' had the lovely retort of 'well its not my face that's had the cancer, you know' ! I thought it was lovely. Been tempted to use it recently x
I’m exactly the same PenelopeJ57, in fact only a few people in my life know I even had cancer, not one of the neighbours in my street know (apart from one in next road who unfortunately is still battling) even members of my family don’t know, if you didn’t need to know I chose not to share, I knew who would be supportive and who wouldn’t. My 2 best friends and this group of amazing people have been my lifeline and always will in relation to my cancer.
I love that idea Northerner I did it a couple of years ago in the distant past of working in the office and we got an amazing haul of goodies for the food bank, it was so emotional dropping it off and seeing the volunteers faces xx
Venicelagoon you've seen the before here's the after
We often pop in to our food bank Santababy to ask what they need quite a lot of the time it's toiletries including feminine hygiene product . I often share recipes that are cheap but nourishing as our bank does cooking classes their clients can then eat the end result as well as learn how to feed their families cheaply . It's sad how many people have never learnt the kitchen rudiments , so are unable to provide a meal on low/no income .
Loving seeing the funny pics again Northerner!
As for feeling better…..hmmm No Comment! But I am going to try and get a few laughs from here! Actually off on holiday this afternoon. Only going 45mins up the road but staying in 3 cottages with my sisters and their families, plus 2 friends that we haven’t seen in over 2 years! So really looking forward to that!
Anyone who wants to do something different with their Pumpkins this year…….

Hadn’t to giggle at one being bigger than the other….just like mine
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
