.
I was told last week by BC Nurse it was normal, and to keep doing the exercises - no doubt I need to be patient. Good idea to warm and exercise it. Will try that. Like you, I'm waking up very frequently. Wishing you all the best for tomorrow's results. xx
Glad I'm not the only one as it can sometimes feel very solitary when others don't understand. Glad I joined this group as others have similar experiences. Cos I cant soak in the bath yet (only 3 weeks post surgery) warm shower on back is next best thing and learning not to sit hunched. Shoulder rolls are good whilst sitting.
I've also recently spoken to BC nurse who says its all normal and will get better but takes time but to take something stronger like the codeine they gave me as only currently taking ibuprofen (I have issues swallowing tablets!) Plenty of rest too. Maybe I'm trying to do too much by being back at working from home but do start late and finish early. need to keep my mind occupied.
Hi everyone,
yes, brains seem to work overtime in the early stages of diagnosis and treatment, keeping you from getting the rest you crave. But by lying in bed resting you’re actually giving your body relax time, so it’s better than nothing! Yes, do carry on those shoulder and arm exercises, very necessary.
Lacomtekp, thinking of you and hoping the scan is ok….
Hugs to all xxx

I found doing the arm exercise under running warm/hot water in the shower made a huge difference. Wait till your whole body is nice and warm from the shower and then with the warm water running over you do the exercises. It really helped with the pain and mobility - especially with the side arm stretch up the wall.
Good luck with your results tomorrow Tired Minion and anyone else waiting for results.
Morning everyone finally got signal . Weather Hot and in Cumbria . Venturing out today to Hawkshead . Hope everyone well x
