Londonmumof2 really sorry to hear you are unwell, fingers crossed it is NOT Covid. Sending ((((HUGS)))) your way. Look after yourself, lots of hot fluids and box sets on tv either on sofa or in bed!! Sending positive thoughts your way! Xxx
Hoping everyone is having a lovely day. I finally got my Zoladex, but it really did hurt today. I think scar tissue is starting to build up, even the nurse commented "oh look at your poor tummy"! I was my usual self and asked if they could make a pic so I could join the dots xxx
That was a great meet up Snowys Mum I really hope we can organise another meet up in 2021!! Eileen and Cathy no longer here but certainly NOT forgotten! Xxx
LondonLass is LP ready for his overnight stay? I have lots of treats for him, and we are starting earlier than planned tomorrow. I had a phone call this am bringing the time forward to 10.30. Suits me better, with a bit of luck we will be able to have our lunch at the normal time. The cafe will be open LP, so you will be OK. Xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Dear Londonmumof2, so sorry to hear that you may have Covid - take life easy and rest up if you can . Lots of fluids and the antibiotics may help especially as it may just be a chest infection. Are you allowed to increase your asthma inhaler/s ?- the sort I use which is an all in one type I can increase the dose if I need to. Take care and get well soon . Sending hugs xxKwissy
I hope your Hospital visit goes ok tomorrow.LP is having lots of nice outings lately, and plenty of scrumpy Hospital food which patients give him when the nurses aren’t looking,I am sure!It is nice to see you in the photo! It brings back memeories of a lovely day.and I spy some others too....a lovely photo..
(just read this back to myself and hoping he hasn’t been having lots of Scrumpy!)
@Snowy’s Mum lovely to see you too.and thanks for that advice re COVID ....it is always good to hear from those with experience of it.It is still a bit of a mystery to me in some ways.I ,too had headaches and a sore throat, and felt hot at times.I am still not sure if it was COVID or not,but I isolated for 10 days after I thought it might be that.My GP is aware.I thought it had just been after effects of dlu jab as It started the next day....
anybody with pain or worries I am thinking about you ...xx
seaspirit44 I hope your hospital appointment goes well, LP and scrumpy, Violetsniff? Sounds a lethal combination to me!!!!
Londonmumof2 I really hope you improve quickly, Covid and asthma isn’t a good combination. I have been told I can increase my pinky/purple inhaler as I wish, certainly up to 2 puffs 4x a day, and of course the blue ventolin inhaler, you can puff away as you will; I understand about 10-15 inhalation’s gets you close to the nebuliser dose. (Once had a nasty spell with a reaction to Clarithromycin and needed oxygen and nebulising in the night I spent in hospital)
Hugs to you all xxx

The site was busy today ! I remember Ali owl ....it was good to see the picture of the group meeting , I always hide in photos !
i stood in a field today in rain and met 4 friends for coffee and mince pies ! Behind a friends house ! One hadn’t been out for months and she said it did her the world of good .
The infection rates per hundred thousand are going down all around the West Country except where I live , up from 68 last week to 77 today .
A local big supermarket is not controlling numbers and there are lots of people in there with masks under their noses ,I won’t go there again .
i knit brown covers that fit Ferraro Rocher chocolates, with sprigs of holly or reindeer antlers on them , to look like Christmas puddings,to give my friends , 14 too many this year as planned meals out were cancelled !!
i am doing my best not to moan , had chemo yesterday , steroids kept me awake ,but at least I was not mopping up a flood , hope you get that sorted out with the insurance ASAP,
best wishes as usual to everyone , hope e can have reasonable weekends .....me.
I’m so glad you met friends! And the Ferraro Rocher covers sound a cute way of giving wee presents!
Hugs xxx
