Dearest Violetsniff, the neck warmers are lovely, they look lovely and soft - they'll be much welcomed come this colder weather. I hope your keeping well, sending you love and hugs.
They are really nice xxxx
Good morning Fruit Loops, just popping on to say......
CONGRATULATIONS, WE HAVE REACHED.....

Seems amazing t think of all the people that have been on this thread during the years that it has been here, so many different stories with very different outcomes! However one thing has remained apparent throughout, that is that anyone can join this thread and everyone is welcomed with open arms. Friendships build and before you know it those online names become lifelong friends!
I truly hope that this thread continues on and on so that many more people suffering with this crappy disease, will find the love and support that they need during a difficult time, but more importantly they will be reminded that even during the hardest of times it’s okay to LAUGH!
WELL DONE FRUIT LOOPS on making this thread the success it has become....

and while this site is allowing me to add pics I’ll add another

Even through the last few months of this dreadful new designed site, the AWAKE thread has continued and that is down to each and every one of you FRUIT LOOPS! So well done!
The next BIG question is, can we get to 30,000 before the end of 2020! Let’s face it we are all going to be spending enough time at home
Love you Fruit Loops. Sal xxxxx
Oh and nearly forgot as it’s Nov 5th and we are celebrating......

There, that’s better xx
Congratulations and celebrations!.....
( I have the perfect gif but you'll have to imagine it....the picture icon has chosen this moment not to appear with the reply?)
Just think LondonLass how many people within that 29,000 your thread has helped.......
Yay! LondonLass, this thread has certainly kept me going! Serious conversation, madcap humour and all, I just love it!
seaspirit44, yes our van is really, really clever! Incredibly well thought out....But we decided we would drain the tanks anyway, and fill again if we need to anytime. Not that we will for a while, I guess.
Hugs xxx
Moomy
Congratulations,LondonLass!!
and Thankyou WhatHappened
yes keeping well, and out of trouble!!
Just deciding what I will find when I venture out into the lovely sunshine for a little walk.
Fortunately have enough wool/books to keep me busy for a month...as a lady at Church said to me,”Keep busy and keep the faith.”
Lovely.
Xxx
I am not surprised that this thread is so popular - it is a great source of support combined with wonderful humour - it made me laugh out loud in my early days just after diagnosis. Long may it continue to help and amuse.
moomy- not surprised to hear that the water tanks have been drained on your clever van. Hubby went to our boat to drain ours in between restrictions and socially distanced of course! Still at least we know that it should be safe from freezing over the winter -though it was a lot of driving in one day .
Hugs for everyone Kwissy
