Watched both life on Mars & Ashes to Ashes first time around. Might revisit xx
happy golden wedding! So sorry your celebrations have been cancelled xxxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Happy golden anniversary what a marvellous achievement so happy for you both xxx
Happy happy 50th anniversary , hope you can have multiple celebrations throughout the year as restrictions ease again as they surely will - sometime! Sorry it’s not the way you hoped but what a wonderful achievement.
Tried to download a gif but.... can’t post. So here are some flowers from my photo album! Lots of love, HFxxxx

Thank you my lovely fruity loop friends. The year started well. We went to an historic gold village in NZ and OH panned for gold and actualy got a few grains . It is dissapointing that so much has had to be cancelled, but those I love most have stayed well and we will celebrate, hopefully, before too long. So instead of the family get together we'd planned hubbie and I will go out for lunch and have a ZOOM conversation with the family locked down in Swansea and share a virtual glass of champagne. And, of course, we fruit loops will be able to have a riotous lunch just like we used too. Can't wait to see Jenny (grannylara) again. Not been able to see her since before Christmas.
Did start to watch WAKING THE DEAD again, but have given up on that. If you haven't already found it look for GHOSTS (iplayer). Good old fashioned comedy and brillian for the early hours.
For those forwhom sleep is elusive, my daughter in law bouhgt me some AVON pilow spray and it works.
I too wish I could post pics for you, but here is our Golden Wedding rose in bloom from earlier this year (our 51st!)
so we are just over a year ahead of you!
hugs xxx

Good morning.....
Fairy dust worked. I'm an hour late....well, late to the site although I've done a few jobs.
Lot cooler last night and night before. How do I know? The Autumn crocus' sprang up overnight. As you can see the grass hasn't recovered from the late heat wave so it's not as pretty as it could be but the most interesting thing for you gardeners reading is that I never planted them. There were some in a different part of the garden but like the fairy dust.....they chose to move!
Have a nice day everyone. I'm off to the hairdressers ....just in case the reconfinement happens!
Love Karen
