Thank You for all the wise words. I am still debating as to whether or not I would like to see my friend on Wednesday but it was great to see that I'm not the only one who is feeling like this.
Also I think the point about doing what feels right for me, was a great point! Like we always say we are all individuals on our own path through all of this!!
I love you guys so much.
Lacomtekp Its entirely your choice but I think meeting them all together in an outdoor space would be as safe as you can be! I think it's amazing that all 3 are going to be around and I think you will be annoyed with yourself if you don't make the most of the opportunity. Look at it this way! How long do you think it might be before you get to see all of them together again??
Go for it Hun and ENJOY xxxxx
thanks for your kind words. Its lovely when someone takes the time write a post saying how much they enjoy reading the AWAKE thread. A break away from Breast Cancer with a few giggles thrown in for good measure! Of course it helps that at least half the group are completely 'nuts', in fact just today I was in a complete panic as... ...
But it's okay I'm still talking to LP the guinea pig, so I must be Loopy still
I really hope you continue to read and join in if you feel like it! As you know we can be 'serious' too!! Xx
Margaret (Northerner) LP has asked if it's okay for him to come with you tomorrow? As always I shall send him with a few snacks, but we all know he'll find more food!! Hope you aren't too worried about the mammogram!! Hopefully you'll get the results soon, as the waiting for those is the worst bit!!
Right I shall stop now before I bore you all, if I haven't already. Sending lots of love to you all. Xxx
Northerner thank you for your advice. I will ask them to spray their shoes xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Hi Northerner and seaspirit44, it’s the getting hold of the Dettol spray that’s the toughest, I’ve gone through 3 entire cans since this debacle started!!!! And yes 99.9% killed - minus people, hopefully!!!

Also the variance in price moomy £1.99 in B&M. £4 in Morrisons I've used it since chemo so hubby trained to look for it where ever he is
I order it online and hope for best lol
Went up on our moors today went to Captain Cooks monument ( yes it still there ) or at least that's what we thought until we got to a usually deserted car park half way up hill it was full to overflowing
None of these are the car park that was full .This is the drovers road beyond car park .
We didn't stop as everyone there obviously wanted to be SD from others that's why they were at an isolated place same as us .
Can anyone tell me why they stayed when it was so busy !!
Hi LondonLass
Appointments are in the afternoon could you warn LP Chemo unit first for Herceptin then I awill have to come out of that side of hospital and walk around the outside of hospital and up to second floor for mammogram.
He should be alright if he wants to go thru hospital but has to keep mask on .
Ive checked with my sister today and there is only 7 Covid patients in there now and none of them on ventilators so good news at the moment .
Ill make sure he gets back ok

HiNortherner I think they are playing us off! Price hikes as they know it’s needed, grrrr!

Hi Northener,
Hope all goes to plan tomorrow and that you get your results very soon -it's the waiting that is the worst bit. Will keep my fingers crossed for you. I'm sure LP will keep you amused and enjoy his visit especially if he finds some food!! Glad there are only a very few covid patients in your hospital. xxxKwissy
P.S. We had a similar experience at a local beach today -cars everywhere and not all of them in the carparks. We paused very briefly to look at the sea and then carried on for a drive.Enjoyed the outing though!
Hi Kwissy thanks for good wishes I'm sure I'll be busy keeping LP occupied He got us evicted last time for impersonating a doctor so he could get in to restaurant area .
We did the same and continued along drovers road until we reached deserted part ,we know the area so are willing to open/ close gates as we go along .
