Sal, sorry you are still having problems , it is the side effects that are more trouble than the cancer I think, my eyes are burning , I have never had “ hay fever “ before , but I can’t go to a pharmacy for advice, 3 friends have tried their best and turned up with creams that did not help

came home from hosp yesterday , slept 13 hours , got up full of enthusiasm to have chemo today , but it has been cancelled , my mood plummeted ....they “ might “ consider it next week , I will believe that when the moon goes blue

Can I pick you lovely ladies brains?

As many may know my daughter is to be married next year so she nags the living daylights out of me about all things wedding.  What we/I am stumped on:

• what to buy bridesmaids/groomsmen - the happy couple are paying for mens suits, ties etc. asking them to provide just the shirt and shoes, me and hubby paid for bridesmaid dresses.  My daughter paying for 3 bridesmaid & 1 flower girl hair on day - they have all decided to do their own make up as they are very good as quite into their make up.  She's also buying them earrings and handbag for day. I am paying for them to stay overnight at venue (£550).   Does she need to buy them anything else?  Groom not sure what to buy his groomsmen.  They are getting a free suit but another token gift would be good.
• What do I give daughter as something old/borrowed/blue.  I had one of my sisters blue garter but she died a few years ago and no one knows where it is.

.Grogg that all sounds very generous I would say earings were a very good memento . For something blue / old what about a small organza pouch with old coin ( I still have old sixpence from my wedding day ) perhaps a coin from her birth year sewn into her dress . For the men How about a hip flask or pocket watch have a look on Etsy they do them for best man etc 

Must be lovely to be planning something special for next year
