    Hi Northerner

Your little puzzles take me back to sitting with my granddaughters trying to spot the difference or find something hidden.  Must admit I'm not so good at it these days - as must be ten or so years since I did any.

Couldn't find the penguin, but did find the panda and don't have the time at the moment to find the odd one out of these cute tigers.  BUT I must admit they make me smile every time you post one x

  • don’t blame you being grumpy! Glad you did not fall, and sorry the colitis and flushes are so bad. Are you on no treatment for the colitis? , glad you are home and have got some sleep, but why have they paused your chemo? Cockwombles!

    Love to all fruitloops xxx

Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!

  • Night night my friends! My kids cooked an amazing Thai dinner tonight - I’m stuffed! I feel blessed that they enjoy interesting foods and have a go at cooking them...we all love Thai so tonight has been a real treat. Watched a film picked by youngest....lots of action! ...but most importantly, we sat as a family of 4 together and ate, drank and enjoyed time together. Covid has been so disruptive but I would never have had us all I one room tonight if it wasn’t for it ...so for all the sadness it has brought to families across the country.....in this small square of Northamptonshire it has brought a family together.

Small things become so much more important post diagnosis. I suppose in some way I am lucky I recognise these times as special...

Enough waffling....tonight I am going to dream of holidays, far away places filled with beautiful scenery, amazing food and family.

    Hi Galligirl

Lovely to read that you had had an enjoyable 'family night" together.  I'm alone with only my much loved cat for company, but my friends and family are being really supportive.  Phone calls, messages and video calls have kept me from feeling lonely.  A  friend popped over for a surprise outside chat yesterday, it was cold outside but it was so good to see her, and we both put our warm coats on and enjoyed a cup to coffee together. You are so right, I think it has bought many families, particularly those where someone is unwell, even closer together.

I would mention that there has been a problem with the Community site this morning, but working again now.

    Take care everyone. xx
