Hello Margaret Northerner
I know what you mean about being outdoors
I went to the Oncology Centre on Monday and it was my first time outdoors for 3 weeks apart from taking rubbish bags to communal bins across the road.
I wore a mask, bought locally from enterprising woman on Next Door App. And disposable gloves bought online from Boots.
The bus was very quiet only 3 others all self distancing. At Oncology Centre, Chemo nurses masked and gloved. I was last patient of day at 16:30.
So, bum injections done promptly and issued with next cycle of Ribociclib tablets.
Then I walked majority of way home avoiding people by walking by sea front. It was lovely to be outdoors in sunshine again.
Indoors washed mask and changed clothes.
I have had an email from the Council recognising my extra vulnerable status, but still not heard from local supermarkets.
I did get a slot for Asda early May though! A local lady ( via GoodSam App) has been shopping for me, would not even accept extra £ for petrol!
