Hi
All the very best for your surgery today - in a few hours it will be over, and you will be on the road to recovery. After all the weeks of chemo which you have managed so well, I’m sure this next stage in treatment journey will be fine. It’s normal to be a bit nervous, and I know I’ll be exactly the same two weeks today when I’m getting ready for my surgery. Take care, and let us know how you are when you are able.

I'll be better in minute no sleep ..steroids
Yay last EC done . Thank you everyone for the good wishes couldn't have done it without you .
Off to food bank today took food on Tuesday ,they are desperate for Xmas gifts of warm gloves, hats, scarves and teenage gifts . Daughter has given us lots of near perfect games . I've gone thru drawers etc even found unused dressing gown ( free gift from cotton traders ) It was so sad seeing mums choosing gifts for their children along with food to feed them .
The food bank we help us a trussel so they provide a lot more than free food . The best bit is they teach young couples how to cook cheaper meals from scratch .
Anyway better get off before fatigue sets in again

Hey, Margaret/Northerner, well done on getting through chemo! Hope the Herceptin is easy after all that!
Morning, everyone and I hope your day is an easy one!
Dear LondonLass, please would LP be there for me at Stoke Mandeville tomorrow at 10.45 for my ‘plastics’ appointment? I’m just a wee bit nervous to find out what might be involved but actually getting pretty certain I won’t go through with it.

Just read back - I’m sure you will be fine, hope you’re there and won’t have to wait too long.
Take it easy post op and take the painkillers, but do those exercises when you’re able. Remember anaesthetic takes a good while to leave your body totally, so if you feel a bit woozy and wobbly still after a day or two, that’s the reason!
You’ll be cancer free when you wake, woohoo!

Some great cartoons glad the appointment went well.
moomy LP the Red nosed reindeer would love to join you tomorrow. He's very excited as he said he hasn't been out with Aunty moomy for a long time!
Update on she's clearly doing well as she's talking about 'flashing' at the passers by through her window, as shes in her own room!! They can't risk her near other patients as she might lead them astray
or maybe it's because she has flu!! One or the other!!
She's gone from seeing Dr Grim Reaper who told her she wouldn't make it through this admission! To seeing a sensible Dr who said she'll be home before Christmas!! We all know Cathy, she'll be home knitting up new creations and trudging off to the ballet before we know it!!
I Thought I would share a picture of one of the ice sculptures that I saw at the weekend! The theme was A Christmas Carol, this year! The area they are in is kept at -10°........
BUT guess who managed to have a hot flush not long after going in!?!?!
Hope EVERYONE has had a good day! Sending Lots of Love to all xxxxxx
