Cazzy () it’s because i’m ‘Special’ just ask the others they’ll tell you Only kidding! It’s because my body hates me! It decided that my periods were going to continue even after jab number 3! So onco at the time said to try 3wkly and that’s how it’s stayed! As it’s hopefully keeping things stable no one wants to change anything, but maybe it’s why I have had such issues with hot flushes and night sweats!
On that subject I saw acupuncturist today and she thinks she might of over treated me last time, so today she did a shorter session and has asked me to go back on Thursday, fingers crossed we can get back on track! She’s also very kindly not charging me for these 2 sessions!
Northerner I really could do with a good nights sleep......but I am also intrigued to see you in your ‘best’ PJ’s!!! We’ll just have to see how it goes!
Hey hey oh my so within third month you were still having periods? I were you having signs of menapause etc or just no different though got diagnosed in June I can't remember my last period must been may maybe.. I can't quite remember I was on the pill though.
You reckon you will sleep tonight or this for everyone xxxx
Love the knitting cat - very apt for here! Only sad thing is that I've got so used to my close vision being terrible, I spent 5 minus trying to work out what was written on his forehead before I realised it was just lines!!!
Sorry, random emoji mid word there...
I also love the cat waiting for dinner photo - that's EXACTLY what it's like here!!!
Hope you and everyone else get better sleep tonight...
HOpe younger some decent sleep Cassy ( and my fellow band of refluxites). My digestion doesn't feel as bad tonight so hoping for better sleep and fewer 'farty face' episodes with the CRAP machine! Sal, your meme with Darth Vader is not wrong...
Cassy - yes, steroid have caused the cataracts as well as chemo having affected my vision. I've been on a maintenance dose for well over two years now, with increases hen my lungs play up! I hear you with the moon face - I've put on 5 stone since I started taking them even though I don't overeat. MInd you, my tolerance for exercise is minimal these days, which doesn't help! Still, if it's a choice of being myopic and obese or still breathing, I'll live with it!!!
I think you said your appointment for CT results is today - good luck, I hope the results are as good as possible given what you already know...
I've just got shopping and sewing up a dinosaur tomorrow, so time for a nap some time during the day. Oh, and I have to stir my Christmas cake fruit, which is soaking in rum. Good grief, my life is exciting...
Sorry, for younger, read 'you get' . Bloody autocorrect!
I wrote 'Aldi' in a post elsewhere earlier (as apparently they sell wool so I'll have to make a trip to our new store...) and autocorrect changed it to 'Work' ! That's not even close!!!!
Wakey wakey!
Actually hope you all asleep!
Re wedding I’m in stubborn mode. One of my darling neice and nephew said they were happy to come night only! Not a chance in hell as very close to my daughter! Yet not so close nieces/nephews demanding invite! Says it all really ! They are firmly out!
Tomorrow exciting itinerary is diabetes check up. I’ll be told off as I know my blood sugars up as I had a month of bad back and pain raises blood sugar along with the painkillers!
i have to get menu for family Xmas meal to restaurant . Need to clean/tidy back living room.
I’m starving - no pies in house!
Hope you all having sweet dreams
Still a bit early so I might go back to sleep! But good to see all is quiet, which hopefully means EVERYONE had a better night! Which means today you will be full of energy to start your day, whatever you are doing!
Just a little reminder......
Why do the days seem to go so quickly at this time of year?! For anyone with appointments or treatment today may I offer a Special.........
For everyone else who has shopping to do, or cards to write or presents to wrap or cakes to make may I offer you.......
Hope today is a good day for all. Love Sal xxxxx
Yep 3 injections in and I was still having periods! They were getting lighter but still every 28 days I had a bleed. So because it was basically my treatment for the Secondary Cancer onco decided to try 3wkly! Which has worked.
Good Luck with your injection today. Hope you get a nice nurse who does it gently and fingers crossed they find a vein first time when you have your bloods done! I think you said you had a blood test today as well. Hope you don’t mind a bit of company? I’m sending LP (Lucky Pants) along to keep you company!
He LOVES watching injections! BUT you need to keep an eye on him! He tries so hard to be good BUT he’s a mischievous little chap, especially if there is food lying around or cupboards that have been left open! He’s asked to go with you as he’d like to meet you.....but he’s probably more interested in seeing what treats he can find! Good Luck with him!! Xx
