    Hi Grannylara,

Thanks for your message and I will look after LP!

I'm really fortunate in having so much support from friends and family. Certainly the next month/years aren't going to be a walk in the park but I am really blessed with so many offers of help. I've already dipped into this community a bit and yes it is a lovely friendly bunch. It's so good to be able to ask questions when stuff is worrying you or just look for answers on older posts.

I'll let you know how it goes on Monday - no doubt I'll have a load more questions about the chemo drugs etc.

Thanks for being there and being so lovely kind and helpful.

    Janet

    xx

Night everyone, and , I hope your appointments went ok, and LP behaved himself, if no one wants him tomorrow he is going to spend the day with Sal, @londonlass and chill in the hot tub with her.

  • Yes, , I had one after my original colonoscopy in 2017. Did not have to do bowel prep (great relief), they just gave me an enema, and they used local anaesthetic gel, so I did not need sedation. ( I was very sore because if the tumour, but you should be  OK) It was over very quickly. They took biopsies and I  bled  a fair bit afterwards, but nothing scary. You probably won't need those either. All very doable.

Sorry you are having this extra worry, Hope all is well and you can forget about it and relax, Hugs xxxxx
