    Hi,

I have been taking Alendronic acid for 3 1/2 years for osteoporosis & osteopaenia.

The haematologist also told me to take Vit C & D. D until the summer.

My Dr had said no to these Vitamins because it could affect heart, but haematologist was surprised when I said not on them.

The worst part is if am going out early allowing half an hour extra is hard, especially when not sleeping properly.

Was only going to be 3 yrs but with other problems still on them.

I am going to ask if I can have an other option when I see him next Monday, April 1st.

Hi londonlass.  I am in oz so it was the middle of the afternoon here.  Thanks for the big hug.  I have had a teary few days but getting better now.  Lost my job yesterday.  I had only been there for 4 months and they werent obligated to hold my job open or reduce my hours and i couldnt manage full time.

  • Oh I’m sorry to hear that. But what were their reasons for ‘sacking’ you? Not sure if oz has the same policies but in the UK you couldn’t be fired due to being unwell and ithe business has a responsibility to see if it can make changes to accommodate someone going back into the work place! Obviously the rules over there might be different.

I can imagine you are feeling pretty pissed off.  But hopefully you’ll find something new or maybe fight them over their decision?? Sal xxx

    Morning,

I hope you managed some sleep.

I decided to stay up until 11pm. Thought it would be a good idea to do an online shop for next week,

otherwise I fall asleep in front of TV, or while reading.

Next thing I knew, head drooped over chest, neck aching, I had fallen asleep over lap-top!!!

I had already taken my make up off & cleaned teeth. So loo visit, nightie on bed. Slept for three hrs. loo, bed another 3hrs.

wish I knew why I would do whatever it was every day.

    Scilly x

Hi Sal.  I am hopefully going to pick up casual work to pay the bills.  Rules are the same here if you have been in the job for 6 months so i should have got sick in 2 months time.  xx
