  • - Hello lovely lady, so glad you are having a good time.

I can sympathise with you with your feet, I ruined my feet with cheap version of 'crocs' - they didn't have any support in them for my arches, I didn't know anything about this at the time, I wore them all the time, then one day I noticed how painful it was to stand bare foot on the carpet in the living room, so I changed from wearing crocs and the pain was terrible.  I search high and low - then I found Sketchers, owwww my the relief from these is amazing (I did write about them a year or two back on here) the memory soul in them is fantastic, my feet can stand and walk for hours (pity I can't).  The ones I love and swear by are called Sketchers D'Lites, I have the 'mule/clog' one that you slip on and off.  I am just in the process of ordering from the States as for some reason we can't get this one over here (thankfully I have a good friend that has said if I can order them they will bring them back for me (air steward, so traveling back and forth).  They do a trainer in these too - so comfortable.

I'm off to bed and safe journey back tomorrow xxxxx

    Night everyone xxxx

I'm hoping this makes sense - only my mind says one thing and my fingers type whatever they like x
  • Hello , really pleased to hear your good news, what a tramatic 18 months you have had - now you can take it all in and relax. Phew, so very pleased for you.

Feel sorry for you with the cramping - this must be terrible.  This might help in the short term, my late mother-in-law swore by an old wives tail....

place a bar/tablet of soap in bed with you - stops you from getting cramp.   I will add, I do agree that it does work, might be worth giving it a go whilst you sort out seeing doctors.

Sending Love and Hugs, Nighty Night xxxx

I'm hoping this makes sense - only my mind says one thing and my fingers type whatever they like x
  • Well tonight I was prepared, I called in the EXPERTS............

Well they looked very official! Although here I am WIDE AWAKE at 3am AGAIN!!!!!!!! Sorry Sheepy friends I tried! I think I can safely say I have tried almost everything. However here I am, still awake!

One night I will sleep right through! It's just tonight isn't the night! I won't give up!! Together we will find a solution! Until then we keep laughing! As that's better than the alternative, of getting stressed and upset about it!

Love you guys. Awake or asleep, I still love you xxxxxx

  • Okay, time to TRY ..........

    I AM FEELING SLEEPY

    I AM TIRED

I AM GOING TO DRIFT INTO A CALMING SLEEP

    I AM GOING TO.............

PROBABLY lie here for the rest of the night, wide AWAKE watching rubbish on You Tube! But DON'T tell the Sheep! Sweet Dreams my Friends xxxxxxxxxxx

  • Ha ha hello, sheep!!...I am sorry for you still being awake, but I am too!!however,I have been asleep.Woke up,went to loo,got back into nice warm bed, only to find I needed the loo again.Tempted to have a cuppa but may make me need to get up again.

so glad you had a nice meal, and had a lovely time visiting Covent Garden.

and yes,...I have found Sketchers too!!they are so great I have gone a bit mad buying a few !!

    .....

am meeting a friend to go to Vistorian Christmas market tomorrow, and am busy wondering what to dress up in.I love dressing up in costume(..it is my alter- ego!!she says she wont mind dear,if I want to dress up as a Victorian woman for the day....my friends humour me...)

I do have some bloomers which I bought at a Vintage shop in Edinburgh years ago.I am sure they won’t fit, but,I will try them just in case.(Obviously will wear a dress over them!)

I might stop short at the bonnet though,as it is in my locale...

Well, with that rather dreamy picture in mind I will try and get some more sleep. An elderly Nursing Sister said on holiday that her GP told her to get up and have some protein or carbohydrate like a biscuit I suppose, when she cant sleep.

i love the old-fashioned ideas like that!they are so warming and often work.xx
