LondonLass, Reminds me if the joke about the lady going for a smear, who had a wash and a good squirt of deodorant. The doctor thanked her for getting so dressed up. She realised she had us
a glitter spray, ouch!

I book matinee tickets because the boyfriend is a pensioner and you can get tickets for a fiver and I know they can be vicious regarding the toilet. xx
Just wanted to say thank you to you all for being here and LondonLass for creating the thread. You're all in my heart xxx

- Oh poor you, I feel for you! It's such a pain when this happens and you end up somewhere you don't want to be for hours at a time. Hopefully they won't need to keep you in - in much better to recover from bugs at home. Better safe than sorry though...
Last time I was an inpatient, I was not given a patient armband for 4 days, not even a red penicillin allergy one! The nurse who finally gave me one was horrified! I must admit, I forgot that I should have one - they did ask name/date of birth etc every time they gave me a drug...
I think I may be in the same boat as you today - had a slight sore throat last night, today chesty cough, raw chest and razor throat. Feel hot but no temperature. Definitely fighting something and as we know that I've got a line infection, they are going to send me to A&E in case it's 'escaped'. I'll be packing my overnight bag in a minute! We take it with us every time as if we do, I generally don't need it!!!
Happy Sunday!!!!
Morning my lovely friends.
Sorry to hear you are in hotel NHS , hope you get home soon. Hope you don’t have to stay in either .
Well it’s not raining here, so fingers crossed for a nicer day.
Hope you all have a lovely day whatever you are doing x
I had a 4 day stay in hospital without wrist bands neither identity one nor penicillin allergy one. I never really thought about it and they did ask me my date of birth enough times to almost drive me insane.
Now hope you get home to recover in comfort as soon as possible and try and make sure your visit is just to pick up some pills.
Love to you both x
