Sorry, I've been a bad and unsupportive fruit loop again for the past few days - not sure where the time has gone, but don't seem to have had the energy to read back!
Anyway, WELCOME to Bertie - you are VERY cute!
Good luck to Sal (LondonLass) for your appointment today - never a pleasant thing - fingers crossed it goes as easily as possible!
Good luck for your treatment Karen ( toxophilite) - may the gods of cannulation be kind to you!
Not sure that chemo will go ahead today - I have a cough developing and they might not want to risk it given the previous trashing of the neutrophils! I had to go to A&E on Friday again as oncologist thought I might be septic, but they sent me home with antibiotics instead of keeping me in. Typically, this was the time they managed to grow bugs on my blood cultures (2 different ones), so although they agreed that I could stay at home, I had to have more done yesterday, both from my line and peripheral vein to see what's going on. If anything has grown they definitely won't attempt the chemo. Fingers crossed they won't want to haul me in and do IV antibiotics...
Good news is though, that the cancer appears stable at the moment, so oncologist is happy to keep me on the chemo, even though we're now at a 50% dosage!
Hugs to all fruit loops everywhere! Love the photo from Saturday by the way - wish I could have been there...

Hello to beautiful Bertie x
I was at my daughters home on Sunday and she rescues and rehomes little piggies. I keep being tempted but Taffy (Siamese) wouldn't approve. But they always make me smile especially the cute babies.
Thinking of you and hope L.P holds your hand x
