    - thanks for the news on mrsox - hurrah for her!! When you contact her, please give her my warmest congratulations on her engagement! I can imagine her having a fabulous but very individual ring!

    - not surprised that you had a bit of a rant at the oncologist  - that delay was not good enough - they should have been ion touch immediately! You're an inspiration with how you're coping with the shock and your chemo and supporting your friends as well!

Thanks for the good wishes for chemo today - it went fine  - fingers crossed it will stay like that! I made the decision today to go commando with the slaphead look - it is too hot and sweaty even for a headscarf. We went round Tesco (other supermarkets are available) afterwards and virtually no-one looked twice! I'm not sure I'll bother with covering up from now on - it's much more comfortable without!!!

Hugs to everyone - - HOLIDAY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

. Please pass on my congratulations to Mrs ox when you are speaking to her again

  • Well done , going commando, and getting through today xx

, you too, I know what you mean about thise scarves. Are you going to make a complaint, or do you not want to rock the boat right now when in a vulnerable situation?

Big hugs to both of you xx

Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!

Great to hear about mrsox, please send her my congratulations and best wishes for the future.

Going commando …. when I started chemo last year I bought scarves and hats, even went to a maccy class to learn how to tie them. I got a lovely wig too …. never wore any of them except once I wore a scarf and couldn't stand the pity looks so went commando and no-one gave a second glance either. I gave them all to maccy for others to use. The only good thing about being a baldy … no messing blow drying hair!

Well so much for my do nothing day .. I just painted my hallway!  Knackered now but it looks all fresh and lovely... can't sit still for 5 minutes, just doped myself up and used my one good arm! Son will go mad as he was going to do it, but he can do the big walls like the bedroom.

    xx
