Hi WhatHappened, Thanks so much for your lovely post .. it brought a smile to my face too. Thanks so much.
I'm keeping on top of the pain with the gabapentin and co-codamol, don't take them when I have gd as they knock me out so by the time she goes the pain is back. Funny thing, as I was just typing this old bc nurse just phoned to see how I was... told her I was getting results Thurs and she said if anything was cancer related I'd be referred to Belfast hospital asap and apparently I'm being discussed at next weeks mdt meeting for any further treatment needed on small lung nodules but she thinks it'll just be a letter to gp to send me every year to keep an eye on things... so fingers crossed the pain is just a nerve thing. Hope you're ok?
Optimistic sorry to hear about your daughter, hopefully it'll just be a cyst but the waiting game is horrible for you all.
Catch you all later.
xx
Sending hugs Optimistic, hope all goes well for your daughter.
Seen oncologist and bone scan and mammogram all clear, tumour markers are still stable, and bloods all good to start my 10th course of chemo tablets.
Just got to have routine ct scan before I see him in 4 weeks.
love and hugs Jenny xx
what a worry for you and your family, sending love
Good news that alls good to start your chemo, what a relief

Hi LondonLass. seaspirit44. toxophilite and everyone else :-)
I gave the forum a break as found it too annoying to cope with.
I’m relatively stable ( well not a shed,
weak joke ), as CT scan shows improvement and Onc is pleased. Isotope bone scan on back shows another small area of Mets but it is small.
The back pain I have is due to wear and tear as I have Osteoarthritis. I did have a prolapsed disc in 1987 so that probably didn’t help matters.
Sending good wishes to everyone.

Glad to see you back , and you are doing ok, think we both started our secondary treatment about the same time, hope you are not getting too many side effects.
