That's all you can do, Toxophilite, go into survival mode as you did when you were on treatment. His GP was at fault. Should have sorted him out there and then so he would be fitter ti care fir you, I doubt the GPs would be able to liaise in any way--- probably unethical.
Violet sniff may be right. It is his way of not coping with your illness.
