Hi LondonLass how did the chat with the BCN go?
I felt unwell yesterday headache, backache and cold, so gave the monthly SBC Meeting: social and speaker a miss, pity as it is good to chat with people who understand what it is like. So just stomach injection trip to GPs yesterday.
Had yoga session on Tues at Mac Horizon Centre which was good.
Today out later to GPs for stomach injection, it gets me out for exercise.
Tomorrow : morning meeting with Oncologist, so getting my list of Q’s ready ( I want at least 10 ).

Good for you,,getting your q’s ready...you have a lot going on.I remember once I found it easier to write a letter to my GP and handed it to him when I sat down!!I do forget some things....and working with people in the NHS,helped me understand medics dont judge you however eccentric I may seem!!xx(which is wonderful to me!!best bit of the NHS)
I am afraid I cant answer the deeper techy bits of peoples’ treatment etc...I wish I could,but....
I know a good relatable picture when I see one!!
.. I love seeing Pia all wrapped up in such a gorgeous colourful wool blanket!!Just the job!!xxx
Definitely Larry for PM , and Pia looks so cosy xxxx

Hi all, my appt did go well. The consultant had the scan on his computer when I went in and I could see it was OK phewwwwwww! No fracture, just arthritis. I can deal with that. Also tendon and ligament problems (just overdone it he said ------what moi???) All exacerbated by Letrozole, surprise surprise. With the correct orthotics I should have less pain. Seeing new podiatrist tomorrow, at the clinic in the grounds of Man City's Etihad stadium. The previous podiatrist was rubbish and I will be telling him so!
LP was ever so good. He sat in my pocket eating treats and then scampered onto the desk and put his little paws on the computer screen. He did a little dance when he heard it was all OK then asked me loads of questions about the anatomy. I had trouble remembering some of it! He seemed fascinated and kept saying he wanted to see his feet on the computer. He was getting a bit noisy then, but when the consultant started talking about steroid injections he shot into my pocket and was very quiet after that.
Is he a football fan? He seems very keen to meet some footballers tomorrow, though whether any will,be having treatment I do not know. I think we will have to have a little trip to the stadium though to keep him quiet.
Love to all xxxx

That's GREAT news seaspirit44 and good to hear the little chap behaved himself. He does enjoy watching a football match so I am sure he will enjoy a trip to the stadium.....although u might want to keep a close eye on him as if he sees a sign saying KEEP OFF the Grass he'll be straight on it!!!!!!! Be Warned!!!!
Sending (((((hugs)))) your way xxxxx
